Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
Resized_20200907_111601 (2).jpeg That's another great pic in the unique "Rick-industrial-style"! ;) Especiially like the color-vombination. Haha, thanks. Pictures really seem to turn out nice in this spot. I'll just call it "Julia's spot" since she seems to love whenever I post ...

Re: Warm vs Cool weather carry
Yep, the hot humid summer months - with lots of sweaty outdoor activities in lightweight clothing - means I've been carrying my lighter, stainless knives a lot more.

Re: Odd milestone - who took all the g10?
I think I just love variety. G10 in different colors and textures, micarta, terotuf, wood - they can all be beautiful and I appreciate different materials for different models and uses. And frn is practical and can be any color under the sun. I often prefer g10 to frn, but I like several frn models...

Re: 52100 exclusive available
CE just won't sell. If it was PE it would sell out in a heartbeat. Even the PE 52100 pm2/para3 models took a while to sell. They were expensive compared to other paras. I have the CE pm2, and I actually really like CE on that model. However, 52100 is the only steel that has ever given me trouble wi...

Agree with all the above. It looks good to me. Plus you've got the DLT sticker that came with it.

Re: Knifejoy factory anodized Spydiechef
Yeah when I first got a spydiechef it was with the intention of having it anodized. In fact, I'd seen an all-purple one on Knifejoy's website and loved it. Sadly, the Spydiechef really wasn't for me and I sold it. But I love this blue - if I was in the market for a Spydiechef, I'd get this one.

With several other Manixes now in my collection, I rarely carry the 52100. But I refuse to sell it...it's just such a looker!TomAiello wrote: ↑Sun Sep 06, 2020 12:46 pmBlasphemy!steelcity16 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 06, 2020 8:19 amI regrettably sold my 52100 Manix during my last purge...
I still think it's the best looking knife of the entire Manix family.

Last year the reveal was mid-september. I think Ramzar posted the exact dates recently in the 2020 Delivered and Upcoming thread.Abyss_Fish wrote: ↑Sun Sep 06, 2020 10:13 amAnyone know when(ish) the reveal is dropping? I’m deciding weather or not to grab this upcoming cruwear delica based on how much lc200n is in this reveal lol.

Re: what's best back pocket knife for doing stupid things?
SE Pac Salt, or find a used s30v shaman for a good price (because it'd be hard for me to make a $200 knife into a total beater).

Re: Is it possible we're stretching spyderco a little thin...?
I assume they have a web shaped table that they have their spydiemeetings at. When they sit down at this table to discuss new products and improvements or changes to current products, i would think having a long list of ideas would be better than having a short list or no new ideas. A web shaped ta...

I think your biggest challenge won't be finding investors, but rather getting those investors to agree on a model and configuration.

Re: How do you carry your knives and why?
It depends on what I'm wearing, but I almost never clip to my right front pocket. Running shorts - Standard wear outside of work 1/2 the year. Folders only, any fixed blades go in a pack. I always clip IWB behind my dominant side hip, like this . Slacks - I only wear these for job interviews or cou...

Re: OMG ... Holy Grail Delica Coming Soon!!!!
If this was in G10, this would have been PER-FECT. The DLC already kills it for me, and they did a snap-bang awesome job on the Purple CruWear PM2 (I'm loving mine). But still kudos to DLT for bringing another Delica CruWear variant! A TiCN coated Cru-ple G10 Delica would be a heck of a knife. As w...
