Re: Spyderco kitchen cutlery

I ordered the entire set of plain edge black handled kitchen knives. I guess that is the Santoku, utility, paring, and mini paring. I was impressed with the quality and value of these knives that I went ahead and ordered the red handled serrated paring knife even though I was pretty sure I did not n...

Re: Where is the Santoku?

Just ordered a set of all four kitchen knives with black handles and plain edged from KW. Santuko, Utility, Paring, and Mini Paring knife. Really looking forward to getting this set. All for $108/shipped seems like a good deal. These will be my outdoor bbq knives for summer cookouts rather than brin...

Re: Delica 4 Purple FRN Scales For Sale?

Why don't you just order a purple delica? I think it should be pretty easy to find at any of the reputable online shops.

Re: Spyderco saves a shark...

Nicely done. As a dive instructor and someone who thinks of himself as an above average diver, I'm not sure I would have attempted that. But the rescue went off without a hitch and no one got hurt so I got to applaud this one. Even cute and somewhat benign nurse sharks have been known to latch onto ...

Re: Spyderco Kitchen Cutlery

Any idea if any other colors will be offered. I'd love to see the small utility or paring knife be offered in that red handle I saw a picture of. I've got a nice set of Wusthof Classic knives but will likely be picking up a sampling of these low cost Spyderco kitchen knives to use outside when grill...

Is this meant to be an actual dog tag that doubles as a knife? If it is, I want one. What a great way to carry a back up blade if you have a dog. Hope it has a locking mechanism of some kind so it can't injury the dog if it accidentally opens up. H1 steel would be great if the pooch likes to swim.

I broke down and ordered an Elmax Para now that they unbundled the package deal. Not too thrilled to support BBS but the Para 2 collector in me could not resist.

Agreed. Its like Apple Pie and Vanilla Ice Cream. They just go together so well. Get a .45ACP 1911 and a Glock 19 and you will have a great pair of guns.

Some nice custom scales in this thread. Its making me think that my dream Para 1.5 knife is probably pretty easily made. I'm looking for G10 scales for a Para 2 that are drilled out for the original Para 1 clip and do not have all the L/R/U/D holes drilled out. I'd be interested in 5 sets of scales....

I'm still waiting for a CF/S110V that will be a large sprint run (1,200+) so everyone has a shot at getting one.

...but I still picked up another Green one while I wait for the CF/S110V.

You know, I'm a bit of a traditionalist when it comes to apple pie. I have only had plain vanilla ice cream with it. Next time, I might try another flavor to mix things up. Maybe a strawberry/vanilla swirl. I bet that would be good with apple pie. Thanks for the pictures.

affordable hard use working knife suggestions

I'm looking to give a Spyderco gift and need some suggestions. This person is a female, works in agriculture at a vineyard doing outdoor work, and is not afraid of big or scary knives (shoots a .45acp with no problems). Looking for a folder that will actually get used by her. Should be able to be ca...

I bought the combo edge one when they were discontinued for $39. That was the best Spyderco deal I've even had. Love the stretch. Its a great knife. Mine does not have Sal's mark on the blade. I've been meaning to send mine in for repair. When closed the lock bar protrudes out and the blade does not...

+2 for me as well. I was really starting to kick myself for not getting them on the first release. Glad they became available again and I was able to score. Now to pick out another set of scales from Halpern. The red rosewood scales look interesting.

If I were to order an exclusive, no reason to beat around the bush. Just schedule a batch of CF S110V Para 2's. How many people wish they had a S90V Para 2? I bet you could order a 800-1,200 piece run and it would be gone in less than 1 week. ****, if I had the money, I'd order it myself and trickle...
