Re: 2018 Discontinued List

I ordered a Sprig from BHQ. I like my South Fork. Figure I'll like the Sprig as well. Better get it before its gone!

Where are you buying from?

I was thinking about getting a mule. Probably lc200n.
I'm pretty sure the only place you can buy them is from spyderco.com

LC200N would be a good pick of the current ones available.

Re: Need help picking out a Mule.

You have 2 K390 so I would pass on the A11. They are very similar and not stainless. PD1 is basically Cruwear. It is pretty stainless in my experience but is not considered stainless. I absolutely love Cruwear. Do you have a Cruwear folder? If not I would get the pd1 and check it out. RWL34 is basi...

Need help picking out a Mule.

With the news that the Mule team project is coming to an end, I realized I have one more set of Halpern scales that are unused. I'd like to pick out one more Mule to order before they are all gone. I'm looking for some suggestions based on the current available Mules. My current Mule collection cons...

Re: Against the grain...

I don't like steels that patina. I feel like they are too much maintenance and I can't tell what the difference is between patina and rust. I have no problems with s30v and VG10. I think they are great steels. I do not like extra markings on my blades. Collectors #'s, Forum knife markings, EDC Forum...

Just to clarify, I'm in for both filet and kitchen. Not sure if I needed to specify that.

Re: Actual users

My EDC knife is the original Para 1, plain edge. Travel knife is often my Ladybug Salt, serrated edge. Water/Kayak/Camping knife is often my Pacific Salt, serrated edge. Dress up knife is usually the Sage 1. Suite/Tie knife is the Centofante Memory. So I guess my five users that are in regular rotat...

Re: Too Many Exclusives?

I kinda think of Sprints and Exclusives as being the same thing. I understand the difference between the two but as the end user it all feels the same. A limited edition combination that is usually better than the standard stock offerings. I'm not sure how Sprints would detract from Exclusives or vi...

Re: Native 5 S90v or Sage 5?

I prefer the Sage 5 to any of the Native 5's I have from and EDC standpoint. Sure the KC Native 5 is "cooler" (to me) as is the CS orange Native 5, and both have "better" steel than the Sage 5 Yet the compression lock, blade shape and fit in the hand of the Sage 5 wins for me I ...

Re: Gentlemens Folder Suggestion....Centofante Memory feedback?

I just opened the box that DLT sent me. Two nice specimens of the Centofante Memory. I think they will work. I was worried they would be too heavy as I'm used to the heft of the similar sized stainless Delica model. That thing feels like an anchor sometimes. I'm glad the Memory is titanium. It does ...

Re: Gentlemens Folder Suggestion....Centofante Memory feedback?

Thanks for the feedback everybody. The Kopa would be my ideal gents knife. I wish they were readily available as I def would have selected that over the Memory. The knives I ordered should be here tomorrow so I guess I'll get to handle them soon and decide for myself. The picture of the black micart...

Gentlemens Folder Suggestion....Centofante Memory feedback?

I'm getting hitched in late March and wanted to get a nice "dress knife" for the occasion. My buddy is also getting married this summer so I decided to get two Centofante Memory knives. I ordered two from DLT yesterday. One for myself and one as a gift. Neither of us carry ornate knives (I...
