Re: Pictures of Delica 4 and Salt 2 handle thickness.
The Salt 2 handle is better. Lighter but thicker...I notice it more in hand than in photos. They should all be linerless. :) The Salt 2 handle is probably a test for a revised Delica 5. I mean, what are the liners even here for on a Delica ? Outside of adding a point of rust, making it slightly hea...

Re: Any new Wharncliffe Delica Flavors in the works?
Just had to point out that the Salt 2 in LC200N was just revealed!! (In case you don't know.) I'm so stoked! Coming out with a plain edge, serrated, and Wharncliffe!! I have literally been waiting 3 years for this.....very happy! Thanks Sal and Eric! (Just realized that someone beat me to it...but I...

Re: Any new Wharncliffe Delica Flavors in the works?
Yeah...I bought two of those from Cutlery Shoppe and then put the blades in the Salt 2 handles. Best knives I have ever owned for my uses. They're all sold out now, I believe.

PacSalt 2 (LC200N) came in today...pivot was a little loose...but I tightened it and really like the knife.

Re: Endela (-sized "middle ground" knife) in the "Pac Salt family"?!
On the linerless Salt knives, such as the Salt 2 and the PAC Salt 2 knives, I like the D4/E4 handles. However, I wouldn’t mind seeing them ‘solid’ on the inside (like the D3/E3 handles were), without the ‘waffle pattern’ (I forget the word) that reduces the weight. It would be slightly heavier, but...

Re: Endela (-sized "middle ground" knife) in the "Pac Salt family"?!
I don’t think it’s an illusion. This is why many of us, myself included, like the old PacSalt handle over the newer one. A bit more ‘compact’ and slightly easier to carry.

Re: Wharncliffe Salt Coming Soon (in LC200N)?
I am convinced that Spyderco is delaying the release of the Salt 2 in LC200N (and the Wharncliffe variation). They know everyone wants these versions more than the Pacific Salt. So they release the Pac Salt because they know people will buy it out of curiosity and then also buy the smaller, more po...

Green salt LC200N serratted BINGO!!!!! Im buying what you're selling bro, id be all over one. Me too...and by the way, we need more linerless Delicas! Maybe call them ‘Ultralight Delicas’ and then we could have all sorts of varieties of steels and still get the benefits of the simpler design and li...

Yes. This is easy...Native 5s are all rock solid in my experience (so are others, but Natives are very consistent in this regard)

Re: Pac salt green frn lc200n shipping to dealers!
Exactly...that's why they released the Pac Salt first. If they released the Salt 2 first, the Pac Salt would not sell as well.
Just a theory... :D

Re: Rock Jumper comparison thread + general info
I hope my beloved SE wharnie Delica is one of those “most popular models” Sal :spyder: I can imagine it would be a bit of a logistical nightmare to make everything in a Salt variant, and who knows if the rest of the casual knife using world will even care, but I've said it before I will likely buy ...

Hi Tangent, Eric's long term plan is to make a Salt version of most popular models. sal Just saw this...that's awesome. Looking forward to it...each time I think "Spyderco can't improve on this..." and then Spyderco improves on it. The Rock Jumper feels great in the hand and is smooth as ...

Re: Rock Jumper comparison thread + general info
I just got mine today in plain edge. I love it. It's a homerun as far as I am concerned...however...
Sal, any plans to do a salt version? I think a serrated H1 version and a plain edge LC200N would appeal to a LOT of people.
