I recently bought a Sharpmaker and a Byrd Harrier 2 with the intention of finally learning how to sharpen my knives. I’ve been told 8Cr13MoV is relatively easy to sharpen, so hopefully that holds true!

I’m curious to know: on which knife, Spyderco or otherwise, did you learn how to sharpen?

The lightweight native 5 has a unique clip pattern. Thanks for clearing that up. I took a closer look at the Native 5 LW clip, and it does appear to differ slightly. The clip on the Byrd Raven 2 looks like it might work with the LT3. Maybe I’m just better off removing the LT3 clip and stripping it?...

Can the clip on a Lil' Temperance 3 be swapped out for the clip on a Native 5 LW? They look like they would be compatible, but I'd like to make sure before I pull the trigger on a LT3. Thanks!
