Re: Gayle Bradley 2

I just recently picked up a GB. I have had the GB on my want list for a long while now, but just had never pulled the trigger. I must say that i know understand why everyone goes bananas about this knife. The knife is very clean, elegant and super comfortable. When i first opened the box i said, meh...

Re: Wayne Goddard lovers ?

This Sprint is SUPER light in the hand. The knife is so light that it almost feels like it will fall apart when used. I almost didnt buy the knife when it came out, but at the time a dealer had a collector version and sold it to me for cost. I'm glad i jumped on it! It is part of my carry rotation. JD

Re: Schempp Bowie Just dropped!

Mine arrived a few days ago. The lockup is very close to 50%. I am happy with that! The detent seems normal to me. I didn't notice anything weak or excessive at all. They pulled a neat trick on the liner lock. They call the liner lock is flush. When i think flush, i think Navaja; Both liners, both s...

Re: Anybody here have a Tuff?

I have a Tuff and i love it. one of my favorites. I love the looks, the blade angle, and the handle comfort. It's one of Schempps finest in my opinion, however not many people share my opinion. :( If you generally like Schempp designs then you will probably love this one.

Re: Handled Tatanka...

I had to snag a Tatanka. I have zero use for this knife but i figured it would look really nice sitting next to my XL Espada. I was right, it looks very nice. Big manley knives :D

I have learned to trust all Schempp designs. :) No matter how they might look in a picture they all seem to be very comfortable once in hand.

Wow! There are some nice designs here. I noticed that many of these aren't VG-10. As long as it stays that way then i am good!

I love the Tuff. I wish it got more credit because it certainly deserves it. Chances are people don't carry it because they can't flick it open or close it with one hand. It's called the Tuff for a reason. If it was easy then it would have been called The Easy. LOL

Thanks for the heads-up. I, too, have gone to CS in the past, but only for regular releases. I was unaware that CS was now taking advantage of Spyderco afis. I'll need to bear that in mind. It's not only Spyderco Sprints that they do this to. They also do this to Benchmade Gold class. I only use CS...
