Re: USA made models,...
Soooo..... You made it up? ????? David No, it is possible for humans to accurately infer conclusions based on predictable patterns. Historically, cheaper items always outsell more expensive ones. The Spyderco Manix has 435 reviews on Amazon across 3 different Manix models. The Tenacious alone has 1...

Re: Best Spyderco value
Military S110V. It really is a broad subject, but considering the steel (and what other companies expect you to pay for it, IF they even offer it) this probably is the most bang for your buck. There may be more inexpensive options that do perform great but this Military is a bargain for what you ge...

Re: USA made models,...
I'm proud that Spyderco has so many models that are made in the good ole US. Now I love all Spyderco's especially my Seki City and Taiwan models. Makes me proud though that the majority (I believe) are USA made. Just sayin. 3 of the 4 Spyderco plants exist outside of the United States, and their sa...

Re: BBS M390 Para 3
I don't understand the S90V thing at all. S110V is superior in all aspects, but because Spyderco made S110V mainstream S90V is some sought after rare commodity... CPM M4 and M390 both offer (different) compromises with S110V that I can see being deemed worth the trade off but I don't get the attract...

At it's current rate of development, it looks like Autos might be legal in the next few year. I wonder what that will do to flippers? Re: Gayle Bradley 2 - So close to perfection...
FWIW, The Cold Steel Tuff Lite is perfect example of having both finger choil and sharpening choil. The GB2 has neither . What it has is a dropped heel that supposedly easier to sharpen fully into the end of the edge. What the maker failed to do is to either remove more metal so the heel starts at ...

Well guys, I have to say Spyderco has once again impressed me. Not with a product or a feeling that product gives me but with the professionalism, kindness and excellence of the company itself. Hi David, We've played around with a variety of flipper methods. As Tim mentioned, our customers are asking for ball bearings, so we'll use ball bearings. The day may come when we change, or go on to something newer. sal ------------------------------------------------------------------------------...
