EDC a Gayle Bradley folder, PM2 or lightweight Manix but in public usually do everything with a SAK, Squeak or Roadie. (looking forward to the Urban)
This is also in an urban environment, in a country that doesn't have much of a outdoor/ hunting culture so a lot of people are easily scared by knives.

Re: Royale with cheese: The Amsterdam Report
I never owned the original and although it always seemed like a great design I also thought the handle would be too thick for me.
Will be very exciting to see where this design goes, in an FRN version I think it would be another great Spyderco working man's knife!

Re: Royale with cheese: The Amsterdam Report
I loved that d'Allara and it was great to see so many new Bradley designs. I thought I heard something about an FRN version of the d'Allara eventually- good to hear it again, so I'll start praying for sprints of that in M4 or something.. Sound like a perfect knife. :D (for starters I'll be buying th...

Re: Sal, a question re: the Superblue FRN sprints
All for more FRN sprints! Missed the Endura in SB, would love to another one in a nice steel.
Still wishing for a PM2 in FRN & M4 some day..
I also believe that the color for a sprint shouldn't really matter when it becomes a staple, the color should be changed anyway.

Re: Travel Knife: Switzerland, Italy, France
S-Europe has much more of a knife culture than up North, France/Italy I don't think people will be easily shocked by a normal user. An Opinel should be ok almost anywhere, Switserland I presume they'd at least be ok with SAK's but I've only been there once for a few days. ;) I think the lightweight ...

Re: ATR Poll
I would really like natural ('ghost jade') G10 scales with holes, 5 might work best for me to really make it a different edition again.
A titanium version would probably also have a lot going for it..

Can't wait for some more M4 but also interested in Gayle Bradley's other steels of choice so I've ordered a Mule.

Re: Royale with cheese: The Amsterdam Report
Liked the GB2, especially for it's weight but I personally missed the choil from the original. (but I think many people will be happy to see that go, part of the reason I didn't use and then sold my first GB. now I'm used to it and love it) I also heard a mention of the steel on the GB flipper not n...

Re: ATR Poll
Holes (5?) and Cobra hood, wire clip and I would prefer a non hollow grind but I doubt that will catch on if everybody wants a somewhat old school ATR.

Re: Chokwe poll
Haven't voted, neither option is very good for me. I love the design of the Chokwe but I think commercially speaking it would make more sense to wait a few years before making a sprint. At this moment it would depend on what the sprint version would be like wether I might buy it, the original is alr...

Yes, pretty much and the holes in handle question was still open, believe it was planned as a sprint.

Re: The 2015 meet.
The ATR had no holes but that was not decided yet, G10 scales on both sides and the same bladegrind/cobrahood as my ss ATR has as far as I could see.

Re: Need some help: USN Ladybug Hawkbill
I believe this size a serrated would be more usefull, small hawkbills in plain edge look beautifull to me but would mainly be usefull for 'softcore' gardening (harvesting mushrooms).
