Re: Power Lock
I joined this forum (long time lurker) just to comment on this topic. My Vote: 7/8 or 3/4 sized Tatanka. I love my Tatanka (I've purchased 3, mine, a spare, and a gift) and would like a slightly smaller version, still with the Power Lock. The Tantaka is a little too scary in public and a little big...

Re: High Hollow Grind
High Hollow grinds are a long time favorite of mine.
For the cutting I do most, nothing beats it.

Re: Several Questions
To add to Pokey’s answers, I’d always assumed the holes in the trainer blades were to aid instant visual identification, so as to prevent mixups with ‘live’ blades. But I don’t really know anything about MBC, so I could be wrong. I hadn’t recalled the visual aspect of this while writing my earlier ...

Re: Wharncliffe's
I would also be interested in a Serrated Yo2 and Yojumbo for that matter...
I’m enjoying the discussion in this thread.
Being a pretty new member, I haven’t posted much, but I love Spyderco’s wharncliffe style and the serrations just as much.

Re: Several Questions
The round hole is both used for one-handed opening and I believe doubles as a trademark. (Though not all of their knives have them) The holes in the trainers are for weight reduction as the blades are not ground to an edge. It’s important that the trainers and “live blades” have the same feel and ba...

Re: Rex 121
The Rex steels are my favorite for a number of reasons, so a Rex121 knife would be at the top of my list as sort of a "Grail Knife." Maybe a sprint run would be advantageous in terms of cost effectiveness? In my opinion, any folder or a fixed blade like the Mule is certain to make a good k...

Re: DAMAUKPK: Damasteel UKPK final poll
Bjorkman's Twist is reminiscent of sedimentary rock outcroppings which I find can be quite beautiful. The tight lines and larger layers make me think this pattern will be really interesting to admire up close and be somewhat eye-catching from afar. Having said that, I'd be more than happy to see thi...
