Re: Spydiechef CQI??

Well, I gave up waiting for the recommended retailers to be restocked, rolled the dice and ordered one I found online ... fingers crossed it's a good (and CQI) one. Happy to report ordering through the big river seems to have gone okay and I now have a CQI Spydiechef. At least I think it’s a CQI on...

I hope there’s another shipment of these coming over from Taichung, soon.
I’m looking forward to using one.

Re: My SpydieChef review went live on ITS Tactical (yeah, after months of use)

Somehow I missed reading your review when first posted, just read it now. Great review. Only problem is that nobody seems to have the SpydieChef in stock anywhere :( . I'm sure I'll end up buying one sooner or later. Yeah, now that my interest is piqued, it seems all the official Spyderco retailers...

A titanium-slab/(steel lock face insert) PPT with standoffs (or radically lightened backspacer) and besides different color G10, also a variant with koa or ironwood non-locking side.

Now I'm interested if any of you will actually use this knife so we can get some reviews on how that coating holds up.
I've been cutting up foam mats for my kids' cosplay costumes (for Comic Con) with my new M4 and REC Para 3's. Both are more than a match for the foam so far. :D

Re: Para 3 exclusive at River's Edge Cutlery

My new one came in, yesterday.
A couple weeks ago I didn't own any 3's, but now (in the words of Coldplay) it's "Para, Para, Paradise"

Re: M4 Para 3 Jade G10

Yes it is the plain finish. IMO it's more comfortable in hand than the Casey Lynch style and doesn't get caught on things when I brush up against stuff. I have this clip on my jade m4 native and my V-TOKU2 endura as well Thanks a lot! I think I may order one. It really does make a good visual match...

Re: M4 Para 3 Jade G10

is that clip in the above shots the "plain" finish? And how does it feel in hand? I have an old STR one on my PM2 (I have always liked that style) and a bronze Lynch currently on my jade Para 3, but That one looks better on the jade and I can throw the Lynch on the new green/FDE Para3 inst...

Re: Your favorite/“the best” Paramilitary

I only have one PM2, a Forest Green CTS 204p one, and I really like it; I guess it’s kinda rare so it gives me a complex to carry/use it ... so maybe I need to get another PM2 as a beater?

Thanks for the pics! it helps ease the waiting. This will be my first Para3 and first jade G10. I was supposed to be not buying new knives. I'm weak.

And now I just noticed that 2018 Forum knife and the upcoming orange Para3 ... maybee two more wont hurt...

Re: Slysz Bowie?

I don't know if you'll like it, but I sure do. Yes, it does slice well. Aside from the pocket clip that grabs fabric, it's close to perfect (for me). Any word on Spyderco CQI'ing a slighty longer/shorter clip to remedy this? Or is this something 20 seconds with a sharpmaker stone can fix by de-burr...

Curious. I have a first-run blue, bought new and EDC'd for years. Also a black one that lurks in the kitchen "junk" drawer for opening stuff. Neither has stuck open. I also have a newer orange model, but haven't carried it enough to make a definitve statement about that one. Hasn't stuck y...
