- Topic: How do you USE your Military?

I bought the Military because it is a large folder. Here's my reason... I EDC my Buck 110 Folding Hunter sheathed to my belt along with the Military, Manix, or one of my other large :spyder: s clipped to my pocket (it's a partnership, if you will). In those situations where it's not PC to visibly ca...

Which Knife "Represents" Spyderco To You?
Okay, I did a search and could not find this as a topic, so here goes... For you, when you hear or see the word "Spyderco," which :spyder: comes to mind, right off the bat, each and every time? For me, the SS Police in SE is the first :spyder: that comes to mind. Even though I'd choose a M...

Both are great knives, and one's not better than the other. It would come down to personal preference and intended use, although I agree with others that you should get both. The Caly3 carries quite discreetly, if that's important to you. The wire clip has it riding deep in the pocket. And, I guess ...

Personally, I like SureFire flashlights for variable brightness, choices between incandescent or LED (which offer the variable brightness) light sources, different designs, compactness, and durability.

Just received mine from the Spyderco Online Store yesterday, along with the new Police models and the Rookie. The new Wayne Goddard Jr. is quite cool and well-made. I used to own the full-size Wayne Goddard with micarta handles and actually like the smaller size of the Jr. quite a bit. I consider th...

Both the Military and Para-Military are great knives. Although some feel the Para-Military is a smaller version of the Military, I look at it as being in its own class. Yes, there are plenty of similarities, but there are enough differences to me for the Para-Military to stand alone. Since I tend to...

For me, the Spyderco Trademark Round Hole makes the Spyderco brand. It's part of the appeal of the knife and the first thing I noticed when I saw the initial Spyderco line in Blade Magazine many years ago. The Spyderco Round Hole is also, IMO, far superior to studs in its reliability and safety. My ...

Appreciating The UKPK More And More
Having moved to Maryland, I've been ECDing my UK Penknife Black G-10 in public while I get a better feel for the state's knife laws (apparently, "penknives" are okay, depending, of course, on what Maryland's definition of a penknife is). The UKPK ECDs quite nicely and discreeting in my LRP...

My :spyder: s are typically on the dresser or somewhere within reach when I hop into bed. Now, there are times when I'm dressed and doze off on the couch for the night. Whatever :spyder: s I happened to be carrying are secured in the pockets of my blue jeans. The one I try to keep aware of is the P'...
