Country Knives still has both the black blade and satin blade versions. I suspect other dealers who do not discount heavily may have one or both as well. Thanks - I found them on page 15 of Spyderco knives on their website...I would love to have one, but they want more for one than I paid for my li...

If you don't know what the 0.45% means - click the link above and read. It is a sad day in our country in these times.

I carry an Endura when working in the heat on the farm, so it gets soaked in sweat and picks up grit. When I get home I rinse it under warm water, shake it out, and generally apply some WD-40 to the knife blade, the lock area, and pivot area.

Good info - Thanks. :)

Maybe they will make one again...I would definitely buy a standard Military with a serrated blade, possibly several.

Does Spyderco make....

...a fully serrated Military model? I think it would be an awesome EDC/self defense tool. :)

I just sent the seller the following email through the Amazon site, so hopefully I will get a response before they ship out: I just ordered a couple of Spyderco Enduras from you with the Spyder Edge blade (which means fully serrated) in the description: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ls_o00_...

Thanks - This is the one I ordered a couple of. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000IH9YMA/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00 The picture is of a PE blade, but the description says: Spyderco Endura 4 Lightweight Spyder Edge Knife... ....Product Features Latest evolution of one of the most popular knives ev...

Does the term Spyder Edge mean fully serrated?

....just wanted clarification? ETA: All of the members of the family old enough to have a knife, have serrated Endura and I just ordered 2 more as spares from Amazon, with the term "spyder edge" blade in the description, which I hope means fully serrated as the product description also sai...

I used mine today as I do everyday that I work out in the farm. The fully serrated endura is my "go to knife" for outdoor work. The serrations slash through bailing rope and anything else needing cutting, then when I get home with my clothes and knife drenched in sweat, I simply rinse it o...

I thought this was interesting when I saw it and thought about this thread. Not only could the father using the knife to save his son in this thread have been mauled as well, but luckily neither he nor his son contracted rabies. Camper fells rabid mountain lion, Arizona Game and Fish Department, Pho...

I went with a Benchmade 800S AFCK. I was tempted to take a Spyderco Military, but the 800 rode lower in my pocket.

Any grown man frightened or intimidated by a knife (which is actually only a tool) seen on a person or being used in a non-threatening manner to perform a task has been successfully emasculated by today's popular culture. I grew up carrying a pocket knife from an early age and once forgot my Buck 11...

At last year's Boy Scout camp, we had several parents who were first time campers. The first day, they had all the questions and issues that first time campers have - forgetting to clear the stones and pinecones out from under their tent site before pitching it, wearing the wrong shoes/socks, forge...

My oldest placed 5th in the State in his age group in 4H in 2009 right after he turned 11, and then didn't touch his bow until this year. He just started shooting competitively again and plans to start bow hunting next year. He competes in Biloxi later this month and just came in 3rd in his age grou...

In my state so many people carry knives that I rarely get comments. For example - Two deer seasons ago I stopped at a convenience store on the way home and a local deputy noticed my multi-cam outfit, realized I had been hunting, and asked me if I had a knife on me as he was trying to open a plastic ...

Thanks Sithust1966, that was interesting. I already knew the State law for my (MS) State, but was amazed see that Tupelo and Vicksburg made their local ordinances more restrictive than our relatively lenient State (with just a few restrictions) regarding length.
