Re: Where Spyderco Knives Fall Short
Never really understood why so many complain about the blade to handle 'problem' with the Para 2.
I carry and use one quite a bit, and have NEVER wished for 1/8" more blade.
Come to think of it......that knife cuts pretty darn well with that extremely short blade and that huge handle!!

Re: Back After a Few Years... Thoughts on LW Knives.
After a few years away from the forum I'm back. The Kris, Persians and Shabaria all gone to cover vet bills. Some days I regret it, but it bought me more time with my faithful companion. On a brighter note, I just received my first Spyderco knife after many years. Two in fact; an orange Native LW a...

Bento Box Shop has the HAP40 Endura 4 on sale for $116.95 plus shipping... They also have the HAP40 Stretch for $138.95...their sale prices are what they should be going for anyway. I can't stand how much they price gouge...they have the Cruwear PM2 for $300! That's just not cool... -Hovan How true...

Re: Quick silly question about the Sharpmaker video..
I kinda remember reading here that they are hired actors.
Was a while ago though.
Joe
Watched that vid a bunch of times and I'm really glad I did.......Spydie serrations sharpen up nicely with Sal's way.

Re: Why does Spyderco pin certain knives?
I felt the same way for quite a while......until I got a couple of pinned Spydies. I have a Pac Salt, a Native LW, a few pinned Manix 2s and a Caly CF ZDP. I can say they are some of my smoothest Spydie's and none of them have ever needed any adjustments. All arrived centered and have stayed that wa...

I have had the un re vamped version for around 6 months. The knife has been amazing from day one.....truly. It flips most excellently. Locks up stupid tight. And best of all it slices like a laser. Re: Time for New, More Advanced Spyderco Pocket Clips
The only thing that bothers me in regards to the clips is the black painted ones......like on the Domino.
After a couple
Weeks of carry the clip looks 10 years old.
A better and longer lasting finish would make me happy.

Hmmmm. Pretty sure my common sense is ok, but I'll check it to make sure.
The one I had from HD twisted the bit in the driver the first time I used it.
But again, maybe my common sense wasn't functioning that day.

Re: Name your fav allaround-do-it-all Spyderco folder in 2017
Great topic Marius!! I have some of the coolest and most amazing Spydies! The one that comes with me to work, HVAC, and the one that does the most difficult and filthy cutting chores.......it has NEVER let me down.......is my Pac Salt! The best $80 I ever spent! I call it my pocket chain saw! No exa...
