AH! OK, I just think of that as the thumb grip, so to speak. Thanx for the reply, was really wondering.

I don't have any show off knives. ANY of my knives can expect to be called to duty at any time, LOL! That is one reason I like the idea of that H-1 Spyderhawk. If they make it and I can afford to get one (or two), it will probably become my EDC knife. I really like that design. :p My current edc kni...

Just a newbie question here

I see this word (or variations of it) pop up in this forum all the time, but can't find an explanation anywhere. I even looked in the glossary on this site, no luck. So, here's the question.

What is "jimping"? What does it do for the knife?

The guy replied he had gotten it used for $200,000.

LOL! Somehow if it were me and I could afford to pay that kind of money for a watch, I would NOT be buying "used"!!
Just as there are knife-nuts, there are Watch-nuts.
OH YEAH!

If they give it a FFG I won't buy one.To me the blade grind is what makes it a Native. I agree completely. Not a big fan of the FFG blades. I have an FRN Native and a Tenacious and the Tenacious (I think) would be a much better knife if the blade was like the Native's. "...I've only handled/fo...

From what little pics I've seen of the Native Chief looks like the so-called size "upgrade" went very wrong, talk about going from the sublime to ridiculous. LOL! Yeah, my first thought was "Huh? That's not a Native. The blade is all wrong." All I meant was I would like to see a...

I'm curious, do you wish the native had a longer blade, or longer handle? Both and neither kind of. I'm not really looking for "longer", just bigger. Think of the Native as a Chevy S-10, I'm talking about it's big brother, the C-10. I think the Native is great, just wish it was "upsi...

Hmm, that looks huge with that long blade. But it would work. What I meant was an EXACT copy proportionally sized up. I think the shape of the Native is perfect, just that it needs a size upgrade. Like, make the handle an inch longer (with the corresponding width, etc) with the blade sizing up to ma...

The Knife I really want to buy...

I recently (this week, lol) got a Spyderco FRN Native. I love everything about this knife except for one thing - it's size. It's a great knife as is, but... Today I got the Spyderco Tenacious I ordered. That was when I figured out what the Native needed. A size upgrade, hehe. BOTH of these knives ar...

I want a White FRN Native with the Black serrated blade.

Oh, and an Orange FRN Native with the Black serrated blade too.

I would have to get at least one of each of those!

Question from a newbie here.

Is the Spyderedge the same thing as a serrated edge? If not, what is/are the differences?

To Sal and ALL the crew at Spyderco:

I originally posted this at Bladeforums.com. It was my first post there and it is only fitting that it be my first here too! LOL! (Besides, it may be seen by more of the folks it is addressed to here anyway) Kudos! And a hearty slap on the back! Lol! Seriously though, thanx for the great products yo...
