I see this word (or variations of it) pop up in this forum all the time, but can't find an explanation anywhere. I even looked in the glossary on this site, no luck. So, here's the question.

What is "jimping"? What does it do for the knife?

Is the Spyderedge the same thing as a serrated edge? If not, what is/are the differences?
