Re: Waiting On My First Luminox!!

Cool. I've always liked Luminox. Please keep us posted. Ya, I’ve heard of Luminox from time to time, but never really had a need for their tacticalness(don’t think thats a word lol). I find myself looking for a very light watch that I can wear in multiple situations. Luminox seems to fit the bill t...

Re: Waiting On My First Luminox!!

I have the orange SAR great beater watch. image.jpeg Very nice, thats exactly what I’m looking for. Something to wear on the job, to the beach or even doing something like yard work. Places that I dont want to wear my Movado’s. Bit of a watch collector with a few Omega's , vintage seamasters and sp...

Waiting On My First Luminox!!

I am a huge fan of Movado watches, as a matter of fact every watch I own is a Movado. However, at the present time I happen to be in the market for super light watch that can easily be read in low light/no light conditions. Unfortunately, Movado does not produce a watch that fits this criteria. So a...

Re: Any Information On This Knife??

Thank you to everyone for all the good information and advice. Always something to learn and good information here at the Spyderco Forum. I took the advice and hit “the exchange”. Posted a want under the wanted section, and within a day I was contacted by two members! I’m in talks with one member ir...

Salt 2 warncliffe serrated proto.

I gotta say, that one has jumped to the top of my list. My favorite Delica blade shape, in an alloy perfect for my working environment.
Yes! I have a feeling that this one will be very popular.

I have the PE BBS Lil Matriarch and love it. I scored mine for $65 shipped on the exchange. Keep your eyes open!
Very nice. When you say “on the exchange” do you mean EBay? Or some other knife exchange?

I agree 100%.

Wouln’t happen to have a PE Reverse S with a box that you are looking to get rid of, do ya? ;) :D
No. IMHO you should take the Bento Box deal. It’s quite fair for a discontinued model.
Fair point, I’ll take into consideration.

Man, I sure would like to get my hands on one of those original Delica 4 PE Reverse S’s, like that white one, but alas, a Google and Ebay search yielded no results :( Jase, you should be aware that those red, white, and blue "LMs" are custom by Radioactive Spyder, not original versions. H...

Re: Any Information On This Knife??

Thank you everyone for all the insightful information. Unfortunately, its moot as I don’t believe I will be purchasing from BBS. I came across their shipping policy, and it seems that it will cost me $15 on top of the $85 to have the knife shipped to me. I even went as far as to email BBS asking abo...

Re: Any Information On This Knife??

As others have said, the LM is a terrific little knife that far outcuts others in it's weight class (IMHO). I only have the SE version, but have considered the PE one for some time. I never pulled the trigger because it is BBS and I have had mixed dealings with them in the past. Great info, thank y...

I'll just say I'd love a blue PE Lil'Matriarch... and say that my current SE Black FRN is the only non-Salt Spyderco (out of 14) that I own, together with my Resilience I like everything about it, and it's the one non-Salt that I wouldn't get rid of!! https://i.imgur.com/DaDgAgU.j...

Re: Any Information On This Knife??

The BBS Lil' Matriarch is exclusive because of the dark blue FRN. Productions LMs came in PE and SE VG10. Early versions have "Delica 4" imprinting on the scale; later production switched to "Lil Matriarch," as found on the BBS LMs. I have examples of each variant. I’m not aware...

Re: Any Information On This Knife??

I had been interested in this one for awhile. So I added one to my order for the BBS M390 Para 3. I received it a few weeks back and I like it more than I thought I would. It's not my usual style and I think that's a good thing. I haven't used it much but I've carried it IWB at work a few times. I'...
