Looks like a great idea. You maybe onto a good thing here. Just thinking out loud here but I wonder how many different size holes Spyderco has. 11, 14mm.
I would love one for my Mini Grip 555.

JD, Thanks for the info. I am curious about diamond paste and polishing compound. I've never used any diamond paste. I've tried the search function here and at bladeforum for info on diamond paste and the result are a little overhelming. What I'm looking for is a simple explanation on how to use dia...

When using the corners of a leather strop why is diamond paste needed? Would not regular stropping compound work?
Thanks

Yup. The compression lock on the Sage 5 would make my day.

Ordering direct from Spyderco would probably be the best option. That way you're sure it will fit and, IIRC, the cost should be under $10. Yep, that works best. Recently replace the clips on my older Mini Manix and on a lightweight Native. They included the screws and the barrel bolt and even a sma...

Thanks for all the input. After some more research I've decided to stick with my current everyday beater that I've had for about 5 years. It is a Salt 1 SE.
If it ain't broke don't fix it.

ZDP and Serrations??

Thinking of getting a Delica SE ZDP. I have read all the posts on the pros and cons of ZDP. Not a lot has been posted about how ZDP works with serrated blades. It will be used as an everyday beater. I really like how the Spyderco serrations perform. Your input would be greatly appreciated. Please do...
