Quite a futuristic-looking knife! I do like the 0600 R.J. Martin design better though.

It shouldn't be too much longer.

Going by the previous Para 2 sprint run releases, they have kept to the schedule on the Exclusives page.

I think that some of the different naming schemes has to do with the fact that some people (or companies for that matter) want to come up with their own unique name (or trademark).

An example of this would be:

Some folks/companies refer to a convex edge as a zero grind or as a rolled edge.

Yes, I'd like to see a Para 2 in CPM-M4 and dark red/burgundy G10.

Generally I find it easy to "feel" the edge at 15-to-20 degrees when freehand sharpening. It is the thicker, 25-degrees and over, that are hard to sharpen freehand though. For a knife where the edge is totally dull, I use the DMT guide for just the extra-coarse or coarse stages and freehan...

I have to agree with most of the comments above.

I can't find anything wrong with the current Endura 4 FFG models, minus the paint wearing off the pocket clip too.

I'd rather see a Military 2 over an Endura 5 anyways!

Another good one is: http://www.bladereviews.com/

I think both of these are much better than the various knife magazines. Well-written articles and videos too.

There is a video interview of Sal explaining why the Temperance 2 being so expensive.

It is the Nutnfancy 2010 SHOT Show Spyderco video.

It is handmade rather than CNC-machined, along with the exchange rates and inflation having raised the cost of knife making in Japan.

I have the large Spyderpac for my Benchmades (7) and Spydercos (18). It hangs off a ceiling hook.

A Kershaw bag and a Boker Plus large bag for everything else.

Most of the individual knife boxes are stored in shoe boxes.

All of the larger fixed blades are stored loosely in a drawer (5).
