I too am OCD about anything mechanical. The Techno's lock-bar is heat hardened at the lock face like a CRK. After approx. a year of almost exclusive carry and excessive opening...my lock-bar is unchanged since new at around 25-30% and absolutely solid lock-up.

V11R in neutral is inbound...Also throw Maratac rev 3 into the mix. A terrific very small, very bright little AAA light. +1 on Maratac's newest rev lights Ken (both AA and AAA). Always a good value and robust build quality. Where did you manage to snag a neutral copy of the V11R...a mod? Thought th...

I can't imagine there would be any drain on the RRT-0 if you use the tail switch to turn it on and off. That being due to the whole "open circuit" thing. Maybe I'm missing something but am a little confused by your comment? Recent posts refer to the RRT-01 (mag ring only UI), thus the sta...

Thanks for the heads up. Even with additionnal shipping fees to France, it's still a great deal. Ordered two. Haha...glad you snagged a couple! They actually had the special edition Ti version of this same light a few days ago...the Jetbeam TCR for 1/2 off at $100, but has since sold out. I thought...

I'm using a JETbeam RRT01 (XM-L2, OP reflector)...I'm going to buy a second one for an emitter swap with an XM-L high CRI. Might not be cost effective for you living in France but FWIW illuminationsupply in San Jose, CA (online store) has a great sale on the RRT-01 (XM-L2) currently at 1/2 off...$4...

Mine's done very well after 1.5 years...perhaps moved slightly starting from approx. 35% to around 40% now with extremely smooth actuation and still solid lock-up.

^I've seen this before dude...you've contracted Technoitis. The only cure is...1) when you become too poor to buy any more, and 2) the source for Techno's dries up! Ref: see Para2its....

I have browsed their website and it looks confusing to me. I didn't see any pricing and are they even in the U.S? I believe they're in Germany, but have a good rep in most forums and are quick to answer email queries...seem to remember the Techno b.s. is in the $35 to $40 range depending on config.

Awesome... Glad to hear. I do have a question though. How do I go about getting a new backspacer for the techno? Are they easy/hard to install? I can't stand blue... Haha. Most I've seen are from Cuscadi/Custom Scale Division. They make GITD, colors in G10, and carbon fiber. I've never swaped my st...

Congats Revival...they look great!! Glad you like them and I'm sure you'll continue to be amazed at how well they perform. Not sure of your concern re the Techno's lock-up? Look nice and early to me...similar to every other Techno I've seen. Early is good...

I have both a Sage 2 and a Techno probably arriving on the same day. Pretty excited. We see what happens....... Be interested to hear how you like em'? My progression w/Taichung products was Sage 1: instantly blown away w/the overall quality/fit/finish/materials and carried for several mos, then ca...

Good choice on the Techno. It looks great w/the copper MBI HF since they share a similar industrial tool like look...great EDC light choice as well! I'm jealous as I've been on the fence trying to decide whether to get the Ti version for several months. Just a fantastic UI!

Yeah...know what you mean. I can say that neither my Sage 2 or Techno's lock-bar has moved at all, even w/obsessive opening and closing in the approx. year I've owned each. Further, I remember Sal responded to a worried Sage 2 owner in a past thread that if the lock-bar ever failed, he would take ca...

So is the tip of your lockbar is actually brown? mine is identical color as the rest of the frame! what's that about.. Can't see mine and I'm not sure how one could get a good look at it (just the face that touches the blade tang) w/o (a) disassembly or (b) over extending the lock-bar outwardly bey...

I always thought that the Sage 2 was not treated, but the Techno was...hence the brown color on the tip of the lock-bar. I've never disassembled my Techno but have seen threads where others had, and taken macro shots of the lock-bar face showing the color difference.

The only Thrunite I've owned is the Neutron 1A. The impression I take away as an old CPF flashaholic is that Thrunite is a rather popular production light for CPF members in general (although not as much as ZL, 47's, Eagletac, Sunwayman, etc.), and have a reputation for robust builds (although sligh...

Okay pal you asked for it... It's funny how many of us that hold the Techno in such high esteem seem to follow the same progression starting with mild interest, then a strong curiosity, and after seeing some of the rabid reviews and thinking about it some more...finally buy one, then it either suppl...
