Re: The Delica Always Creeping In

Agreed.

The delica is my primary user, and the only knife I have two of. I actually love the design/look and don't feel it's ugly.

I usually EDC my Manix... but when I need to work it's the Delica coming with me.

What are the chances for a multi-blade whittler?

Sal and team, I feel spyderco has mastered ergonomics in hand and blade geometry for slicing. What are the chances of getting a multi-blade slipjoint folder for whittling like the following knives? - Boker Congress Whittler - Buck Trio I primarily use my delica but sometimes I want a sheeps foot.. o...

Re: Seki Japan Made Wish List?

Endura family with polished G10 like the Firefly had. Polished G10 does it for me.

As for steel, makers choice. The spyderco folks know best. My preference is a working steel that would be good for camp/hiking/whittling.

Re: 2019 Forum Calendar Contest!

Spyderco Manix 2 Dark Blue ; C101GPDBL2 ; My submission is of my favorite EDC, The Spyderco Manix. My Manix has two homes, in my pocket or in my hand. I chose to go with a picture of my Manix in the pocket as it carries so well for me, to the point that I miss it when it's not there. If for some cir...

Re: Knives going out of stock in Canada?

I have had no issues as an individual getting knives across the boarder. They were clearly marked as knives with the proper values declared. One was a headesigns poison which can only be opened via a very prominent Flipper. I feel that we may be at the mercy of the agent who inspects the package. Th...

Teaser from facebook - REX 45

This was posted and yoinked pretty quickly from the spyderco facebook groups. Hopefully this means production is nearing completion and they ship out soon ;) Admins> Please feel free to delete this thread if it's naughty. I can't wait! Pre-ordered mine and talked a few buddies into pre-orders as well.

Re: 2018 Calendar Contest - Please Help Me Decide

18 as it is.
20 -maybe- if you can fix the colors up and make the knife pop more. Too washed as it is now but I like the background and knife you chose.

The signature on the Delica is long overdue. Maybe we could get things kicked off with a Sal-selected sprint.
I second 'sal sprints'.

Sal's favorite steel and colors with makers mark :)

I adore the delica and feel a makers mark would complete it.

Re: New to Spyderco.. What is recommended?

Welcome Josh. I asked a similar question when I joined and had it narrowed down to Shaman or Sliverax. I absolutely love my Sliverax. Why? Basically invisible to me when I carry it - but that is subjective Adult fidget toy - Many deployment options (finger flick, thumb, flipper) Unique appearance - ...

Welcome legOFwhat.

Heed the wise words of Evil D. I am also a forum newbie and have made an 'unreasonable' amount of purchases recently.

This place may be dangerous... It'll get you researching models you weren't aware of before and sooner or later they are in the mail on their way to you...

Re: Hungarian lightweight

I was playing with my Hungarian recently and was actually thinking that a titanium version with RIL would be pretty cool. I don't think the sales of the original would support running it that way, though. FWIW, the polished, rounded scales make it one of my favorite spyderco handles. +1 to your FWI...
