Thank you so much for the Delica. It has retired about 4 knives from my rotation because it works so hard, carries so well, and is tough as nails.

Of those two, the Shaman will do better for hard cutting, but both are pretty robust knives. I'd go with the Sliverax personally; if I'm carrying a knife as big as the Shaman, I'm probably going to start thinking fixed blade. First, welcome to the fourm! I own both of those knives and they are excellent. If you are looking for a robust blade I'd go with the Shaman it's a beast.
