After talking to them at the booth it sounded like they had not made the choice yet for C100. And that they would rather wait and do it right than rush something out instead. I think we will all be happy when it happens.

Gary-
welcome back and to the board.
Contact Spyderco directly. They made and sent the Natives over. They are not available retail anywhere. Well except for the ones that people in the military don't keep and sell on ebay. Good luck.

FOM-
Not necessarily. Handles are different thickness or material so different screws are required. At least it used to be that way. When I did some clip/screw changes you have to find the right ones. Just my 2 cents worth.

Dude- Awesome picture!!
Just don't tell anyone where you live in case of temptation. I have never seen a couple of those before.
As for your question- the one in the middle on the left is a Q from
Venetia Mining company from South Africa.

I got my Moteng from a Spyderco employee and it is hand written on the box "Moteng" and it looks like your picture for the Moteng. I don't know who the "Mountain" design is for or the 2nd fish design unless both fish were for Meyer. I know the feeling. After this thread and that ...

Have to go with Deacon on this. I believe it was in the book. The original worker had a slightly sharpened edge on top for cutting thread/string type thing. Original has the 2 screw type clip and non beveled edges and one scale thicker than the other. But i think it was dropped for safety/legal reas...

Hey Rawd- No one's mad. A little disappointed maybe that we didn't win. We would love to see some pics of your collection. And just because someone else posted doesn't mean you can't contribute. That's the beauty of this forum, everyone has an opinion and we usually look forward to hearing about it....

Chris-
Sorry to tell you but yeah you lost. I've seen sedalia bidding before on stuff. I tried to put in another bid and all of a sudden price shot up $100.
One of these days Chris we'll have to sit down and talk about our Q's.

Never sold- it was a prototype. One of a kind. Some proto's were made and sent to companies to try and get them to produce a run of Q's. I have one other proto myself but didn't think it was worth that much. Would be nice to hear if sedalia frequents this board or not.
