unlock it with two fingers then swing snap it shut? Is this hard on a knife like
this or does it cause any stress to it? Thanks.

I'm going to be purchasing my first ZDP knife here pretty quick. I've been meaning to grab something in it for quite some time. It should be interesting, I have some other good steels and will be looking forward to seeing how this one works out. I don't really mind the stains on my knives, or the sc...

I have no problem at all with them. Carried larger folders loose in my back pocket and gent's knives in my watch pocket for fifty years before I discovered Spyderco. It's comfortable and I never lost a single one so I saw no good reason to change that. As a result, the clip come off any I intend to...

Speaking of Ti-clips mine just broke apart on my Pacific. I'd bent it a few times catching it stainless kitchen counters which just happen to unfortunately be at just the right height to grab at them and bend them outward. I was able to re-adjust a few times but the last time I removed it and gave '...

Thanks for the info. I'm sure they do feel lighter in the blade than the Saber grinds.
I might pick up an Endura in FFG. I'm dying to try it out in the kitchen.

In my very modest collection of Spyderco knives my Military is a super slicer. I use
it on food prep quite a bit. I've often wondered if the Centofante would also be a
nice slicer? Thin blade on it I've heard.
My Byrd rescue with full serrations is a heck of a cutter on tough material.

Thanks for your thoughts on the ffg knives. I have a question? You say
the ffg are lighter. According to the spec's they are pretty much the
same weight at least in the Endura as the originals? I'm just curious are
they really that much lighter? thanks. :)

Great knives for sure the Military's! At times I find them a wee bit big for edc
but once over that for an all around knife they can't be beat. :)

Most satisfying has to be put to work in the kitchen. Usually with fruit, veggies, maybe
some meat and usually with the Military. Very nice blade for food prep. :)

If we can flick it open up here in Canada it's illegal (gravity knife) and it will get
confiscated if we get caught doing it. Make sure you tighten down the pivots
before shipping your knives up here so when they sometimes check 'em (Border)
them they don't take them away.

Well today was a bit of a rough day on the ol' Pacific. I broke my pocket clip. Too many times over the last year I've nicked it on the stainless prep counters in the restaurant and had to bend it back. Today it had fatigued to the point where it snapped. Ah well I'll just start carrying it in the t...

I've posted pictures of my Pacific Salt in action at the restaurant where I work. It gets used a lot everyday. It sees quite a number of cardboard boxes flattened, then into sanitizer, then it's back into the kitchen prep area. At the end of an 8 hour stint it goes home with me gets stropped on a we...

It's sure nice to have choices! I like some g10, and some frn, on some knives, and not on others. I would not be happy with frn on my Emerson's and I wouldn't want g10 on the Salt series folders. I've never had the opportunity to try carbon fiber but perhaps someday. About the only thing I don't car...
