Re: Manix jimping poll

Voted #2 Handle jimping is the most annoying. I don't think that choil or spine jimping is necessary either but it doesn't bite as much. Talking about gen 3 - it would be cool to redesign the lock part in a way that the handle hides more of the blade when closed. It would make manix more comfortable...

BTW, the new military should be called paramilitary1 IMO. And the millie with liner lock should stay alive :tonque-out

I was really hoping we would see the 4V Military before the end of the year. Hopefully it isn't too far out.

I've been checking SNK site several times a day for the last 2 weeks. Just hope it won't sell out in minutes. Any idea what the price could be? 200-220?

The next morning after a rainy day I found a net covered with tiny drops. Having my favourite PM2 in the pocket I felt like these two would fit together.
Good luck for everyone!

Re: Satin VS Black Blades

Choose the one you like better and enjoy it, S30v is rust resistant enough.
Although I like nonstainless better (no surprise ;)) I go for dlc only if the particular model isn't available in uncoated version.

Re: Reveal 10 Live!

If the Native Chief is Direct from Spyderco only, does that mean it will be billed at full MSRP? That’s how it has been for the Sprint PM2 Colorado Flag from June 2021 at MSRP of $260 with no discounts. Bummer, was hoping this would be in line with the Manix M390 with Earth Brown. Wouldn't make sen...

Re: Manix

Well, I'm a weirdo here being not a big fan of manix - I have just one (g10 rex45). While it's pretty enjoyable in use, it doesn't feel so in the pocket as almost a half of the blade still pokes out of the handle when closed >:[ I know it's because of the cbbl lock but that could be fixed, at least ...

Re: One for trouble and one for fun?

I usually carry two folders. Plus one fixed blade when hiking on weekends. All for fun, looking for someTHING to cut. As long as I have legs I will never think of using a knife for SD. A knife is a tool.

Re: Which model has impacted your preferences the most?

Stretch 2 - the ZDP version was my first :bug-red . I remember how long it took me to choose the "right" model. I thought I'd buy just one knife with that weird plastic handle pattern and a hole in the blade. Just to give it a try. Could not had been wrong more :') The stretch's ergo impre...

Voted no. Rockjumper definitely deserves more steel options but as a regular production, not sprints. IMO it has a potential to replace delica wharnies entirely.
