Re: Your Spyderco Christmas EDC

I'm at home now just enjoying a drink with the wife, so I've got a bunch of knives around, haha...

But here's a festive shot for the thread! :spyder:

Re: End of a Journey

There's always about 4 or 5 more pockets on your pants, so you can rotate those around with your storage! ;)
...and at least a few in your jacket. Haven't even brought up the backpack and car yet.

Re: T-Mag Sprint...any interest?

Anyone ever drop one in a shop setting and it picked up all the metal shavings, grindings, and slag? Doesn't sound fun to grab a hold of... Really don't enjoy metal splinters in my hand or pocket.

Re: Your last purchase in 2017

Ordered a Shaboy this morning from Knifeworks Maybe this has already been asked and answered, but what is a Shaboy? Haha, the little version of the Shaman = the Shaboy! I've got a D'Allara 3 on the way. Realistically will be my last knife purchase for the year. Very slim chance I may get a knife fr...

Re: Spyderco Photo of the Week Contest!

Congrats Abbazaba!

Thanks for judging Mushroom. Yeah my shot has some odd focus, but I thought the silhouette was still neat. And thanks for the comment Peacent!

This week got Police'd! :D

I really liked OkanSevens Worker shot, too. Makes me want to reach out and grab one right now.

Re: Sliverax Mod-Squad: pinups & give-away

I've carried mine a whole bunch, almost exclusively since getting it. Honestly the only reason I've carried anything else is because I have all these awesome Militaries in awesome steels that I enjoy more than S30V. I simply cannot express how much this knife deserves a second version in a more exc...

Re: Sliverax Mod-Squad: pinups & give-away

I just randomly got a knife "magazine" in the mail for free (no doubt some sort of retailer must have sold my information since I don't subscribe to anything), and was just flipping through the pages and saw their article for "Knives of the year for 2017", and the Sliverax was on...

One-finger operation, or do you need a two-finger pinch to get it to disengage?

Yep, check out the recent thread about it, Paul mentions a few details about it, and that it's his own interpretation of the patent.

Now we'll get to see our first in-hand look at how this operates with the upcoming Parata, with Paul Alexander's variation on the design.

Anxious to see how it operates, myself. :spyder:
