I guess if it was me a folder would not be my primary while tramping , a large camp knife , ( Perrin ? ) for example would be my first choice . A folder would be my secondary to do the small chores were a biggie is not an option . Nothing wrong with the Military , I don't own right handed folders bu...

Thanks Sal for your comments and I fully support them and our troops . Since I have picked up the Native I have had mixed feelings owning it . It could have been better served in someone's pocket in Iraq than setting in my selfish collection of knives . I had a discussion with a Legion member last n...

I have no problem with lockbacks , all linerlocks are rightie at this time so that is a no go for me . The compression lock is another story , love my new SS ATR and yes I can open and close one handed but seems to be a two handed operation for righties . This may be the reason some people are not w...

I prefer larger knives ( a Delica , Native is small to me ) , I feel a larger handle provides safer control when cutting or any other situations . If a smaller knife has great ergo qualities , such as the Kiwi , or a small Dyad , they find their way in my pocket on days where a biggie is not a good ...

Picked Up Iraqi Freedon Native

Got my Iraqi Freedom Native yesterday from my buddy . Handle is lighter in color than I expected from the pictures , and it comes in a clam pack no box . Hope I can find the Afghan Native someday .
