Re: Unpopular Blade Steels That You Like?
8Cr13Mov especially on Bow River. It holds the edge better than VG10 on my Delica. Sharpening response is unbeliveble. Like some carbon steel.

Phil Wilson knife for everyone. Real winner. **** of a slicer, compact, easy to carry, fit and finish is very, very good, nice round G10 handle and for the price, it is a steal:)

1. M390/ 20CV for high edge retention, corrosion resistence and good toughnes.
2. LC200N for absolute corrosion resistence , ease of sharpening and edge retention.
3. 8Cr13Mov because it made Bow River possible.
Second pick.
S110V
VG10

Wow. There goes my next paycheck. I'm going to be buying backups of both SE and PE. Sal, Kristi - Can you tell us any details about the knife? In order of interest for me: 1. Is it based on tbe Endura 3 or 4 handle, or something new? 2. SE or PE or both? 3. H1, LC200N, or something new? 4. 3oz stil...

Mine arrived Yesterday and I can't put it out my hands. Its so nice, compact, agile. Fit and finish is very, very good. Its a keeper. Edge is thin around 0,4mm, smooth G10, no sharp corners. Phil Wilson is the man. Great design and great execution Spyderco. Thank You for this knife. It was worth the...

Wau. Great combo. I ordered Bow River today. Province is on my Wish list. Best fixed blades from Spyderco so far, IMHO

Wau. Just wau. I don't have much use for a big fixed blade, but I want it anyway:) Congratulation Jim.
Spyderco starts making top class fixed blade lately. Waterway, Bow River, Province.

Very nice. Native Chief would be great with contoured G10.

Re: AFI Performance Flash Batch
When it will be Delica, can it be a wharncliffe, please???? It's supposed to be an "high end cuting machine" and wharnie is ultimate work knife already. With higher end steel, very thin edge and overall geometry it will be even better.

Delica wharncliffe for me. Keep amaze me everyday. Very usefull blade shape, size, ergonomy, thin edge. Switch the handles with Salt 2. Now its even better:)

Re: Spyderco makes a Wharncliffe Pacific Salt: Do you want it?
Yes. But only FFG and with the Endura 4 handle.
Blade shape of the Pacific is versatile, but it's not a wharncliffe. As I learned few weeks back (Salt 2 vs.Delica wharnie ) "a little different" in shape, makes a huge difference in use.

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
Surprise surprise, look what I'm carrying. I'll be making a thread about it soon. Good for you, brother. Delica handle is great, even for bigger hands. I carry Salt 2 last four months and like it very much. I only switched the blade for a wharncliffe. Lightweight, compact, ready to cut. Jazz master...
