Dont feel it.
Theyre just too pricey for what you get, considering there are so many similar competitve options in lower price brackets.

How many of you own a Hungarian?
Was this model a flop for Spyderco? Its truly a beautiful knife. I can see why some people wouldn't like it. I bought one on a whim because it just called to me. Carry it every once in a while. Used it for some food prep. Everyone who sees it is quite impressed by it. The CTS-XHP blade has a really ...

Well then please add my resounding YES! if they are on the fence.
Peter Rassenti makes really cool knives.
Titanium integrals are awesome, and sought after.
Spyderco should definitely do this.

Re: I do not understand why they restrict Butterfly Knives.
Im going to offer an alternative view on why they were likely outlawed along with automatics in many jurisdictions; The whole gang-affiliation thing probably influenced the decision, but whats more likely is that the market was flooded with ultra cheap chinese autos and balis, and kids were probably...

Re: Comparable Brands
After 6 years I still only carry Spyderco 90% of the time. Any other production brand just doesnt cut it for me, and Ive owned them all. I strongly dislike Benchmade's styles (who I think is a primary competitor) I dont like CS outlandish styles Kershaw offers a pretty mehhh product despite its US p...

Re: Keeping down the numbers
Ive carried the same Military for the last five years. It was a factory second and the only knife I had after selling my sizeable collection 4 years ago. I just recently bought 4 new Spydies and an expensive 'mid-tech' (yet to arrive). All knives I see using, but probably wont buy any more in the ne...

Re: Sal, have you ever looked into making Ti Integral folder
Well youre not supposed to take Spydercos apart lest you void the warranty. Ive never found it necessary to take a knife apart for cleaning. Integrals beauty is that its construction is literally one piece, the blade slides into place -- so if you wanted to, you just remove the blade, and rinse out ...

Sal, have you ever looked into making Ti Integral folders?
Just a question on feasibility of releasing such a product at a reasonable price, and if its something Spyderco has ever considered, or is looking into. A lot of custom makers like Peter Rassenti (who apparently is licensed to use the Spyder Hole) make beautiful Ti integrals, that are just out of th...

Military
Back lock folders are overall slower and liner-locks.
The military's liner will not fail you.
The blade profile is better IMO

No Im sorry.
The black Military is new.
I had a satin finish Milie that has been carried for 4.5 years, but sold it to a coworker. It was actually a factory second, but served me excellently.
