Sounds like a perfect handle material for the Lil' Temperance Sprint run. ;)

Sprint run?

I'd be more then happy with a Sprint run of the old model with S30V & a different color G-10 handle. Tan, foliage, grey, blue, orange, black G-10 even? I'd prefer to see the trailing point blade design used. :) No need to change any manufacturing methods as long as the old jigs, tooling, program...

Thanks for the Chris Reeve quote. I enjoyed it. BG-42 is a high quality steel, more then enough for my needs at work and play. I love my BG-42 Military. It's the pinnacle of the Military's evolution IMHO. It rides easy in the pocket(slim & light) and locks up solid with no blade play. The dual l...

Interesting design. I can't wait to see one. Hopefully it's kept light.

Shame the blades @ 2.6" though. I have to travel to Cleveland occasionally and they have a 2.5" blade length law. Currently I carry a Dodo and Kopa there.

Looking for a couple of Perrin Street Bowies

Can anyone point me toward a source for a couple of NIB Perrin Street Bowies? Retail or private. I love this design and I need a couple more. One as a back up to my user and one as a gift for my sister-in-law.

Much appreciated. Thanks for the help.

Full-flat grind Chinook 3!

A 10 out of 10 for this effort from Spyderco. I've carried my hollow grind Chinook 2 as part of my rotation since it first came out. It tended to be my fall, winter, spring carry knife when jackets are the norm here in PA. It's definitely seen it's share of use. Now my full-flat grind Chinook 3 has ...

Two great things have been mentioned in this thread: 1. Knives Plus. Great company, great prices, great customer service. I've been buying knives from them since '89. Never a complaint. Good people. 2. The ZDP-189 Jess Horn. Exceeded my expectations by far. I much prefer it over my ZDP Delica 4. Jus...

After carrying my Chinook II for a couple years now I didn't think it could be improved on. Then, BANG, full flat grind. Improvement indeed! I'm going to have to check one out.

I hope the collectors club members will be receiving one.

Trust me, you didn't miss out on them yet. Call around to some of the many trustworthy knife dealers and see if they're in stock. If that's a bust or too much of a pain, check out eBay. They're all over eBay. A bunch of them are currently listed over a wide range of prices. Good luck!

Tasman / H1 question?

How does this H1 blade shape hold an edge compared to similar blades styles on the Harpy and Merlin in ATS-55 and VG-10? Does the point blunt easily during normal day to day utility use (not abuse)?

Thanks for the help.

I don't mean to be a "Fly In the Ointment" but I was talking to a representative of the Great Spyder Factory yesterday at the BLADE show and they told me that the ZDP-189 Jess Horn won't be released until next month. I think this is another case of dealers advertising something that they ...

Coolest blade you can buy for a little over $50 on the market right now. Without a doubt, it's an awesome piece of engineering and manufacturing. I've been having a blast with mine.
