Re: Shaman sprint or exclusive; what are you hoping for?
I wanna see the Cruwear/Micarta sprint be so popular it becomes a production variant :D

Re: Z-CUT KNIVES review
I was thinking the same thing with the blunted serrated blades, perfect sandwich prep knife! I’m definitely in for one of those, maybe a pointed plain and serrated too. I’m thinking these will be great for gifts, I have a few family members that could really benefit from having knives that are actua...

Re: Sage 5 LW - Coming Soon? Specs?
I’m speaking more of the total thickness of the knife, or the handle thickness. The Chap LW is .32” wide whereas the CF Chap is .34” wide, and I believe the Raffir Noble Chap is even wider than that. It would be cool if they shaved the total width down on the Sage 5 with the FRN scales like they did...

Re: Lightweight EDC fixed blade idea
At that point I’m not sure if it’d be an ARK Wharncliffe or a Lil’ Ronin.

Re: Lightweight EDC fixed blade idea
 That Janich/Perrin collab pictured is EXACTLY what I’d imagine a Wharncliffe ARK would look like! Or at least the ideal knife I’d buy!! Either skeleton or thin scales like what’s on the ARK now in LC200N or BD1N :D oooooh that would be sweet!

Re: Sage 5 LW - Coming Soon? Specs?
It’d be great if it was thinner like how the Chap LW was thinned out.

Re: At Last, A Tactical Bottle Opener
I just watched the shot show thing on YouTube and saw this and it kinda got me wondering... are cans with pull tabs and bottles with twist tops not a thing in the US? There seems to be very strong following for bottle/can opening capabilities being a high priority, I clearly don’t get it but I will...

Re: Why the lil native...
I’ve asked in the past about a Lil’ Native LW and Sal said Eric was working on one. At the time I didn’t imagine a LW with a comp lock was possible, but once the Para 3 LW dropped I guess it would be possible! That being said, I think I’d prefer an FRN Lil’ Native with a lockback, and I agree that m...

Re: Lightweight EDC fixed blade idea
I just want an ARK with a wharnie blade. I don't think I could handle having something as big as a Mule hanging around my neck unless I was camping or something. YES! Yes. This would be great. Yes. I’d love to see a Wharncliffe ARK, especially in something like BD1/BD1N or LC200N to keep it “salt”....

Re: EDC, or rotation?
Most days I’ve got my translucent blue Manix LW on me, but some days I’ll carry a Lil’ Native or a D2 steel flipper to mix it up.

Re: Why the lil native...
I have both a Dragonfly 2 I use at work and a Lil’ Native I have in my carry rotation. Being practically the same size, I MUCH prefer the Native over the Dragonfly. The pointy thumb ramp is nice, but I also find it can get in the way, but most of all I much prefer the broader handle on the Native. I...

Re: "Most Durable" available Spyderco Knife?
I’d say an Enuff Salt. As others have said, it’s the super tough H1 steel mixed with a short, thick fixed blade.

Re: Updated shaman sprint steel poll
This really needs to be a regular production knife. A S110V Shaman doesn’t make nearly as much sense as a Cruwear Shaman. Most everything else from Golden has gotten the S110V treatment in a production knife, I’d love if they opted for this Cruwear/Micarta flavor for the Shaman instead. It just make...

Re: Is the Lil Native Compression Lock Handle Thicker than the Back Lock version?
I don’t believe so, because the liners are nested and the total thickness of the scale is pretty thin. I don’t see how the G10 on the backlock would have been made any thinner.

Re: Why does tooling get destroyed?
I thought they destroyed it so the counterfeiters couldn't get it How could counterfeiters get the tooling if it's in Spyderco's possession? Not trying to be a troll or anything of the like but I would think it would be far too risky for counterfeiters to try to invade a company's manufacturing fac...

Re: Why linerless?
Funny, I personally think that visible liners, especially somewhat thick ones, are ugly. I wish the Manix 2 had nested liners like the PM2 for this reason. And because of this fact, linerless models are fine by me. Goes to show different people like different things.
