Yes it can be. For me I use my thumb and middle finger to compress the lock and use my index finger to move the blade. It took some getting used to but is easily done now.

Wings Slipit. That's a knife that really should be given a round hole. Seems like there all sold out. Has it been discontinued? Just checked BHQ NJK Amazon... EDIT: I must have missed it but they do have a few over at BHQ but I don't know about it. Looks like the serrated blade on it is chiseled gr...

I guess i'll have to run out and get my first byrd knife. I can't be part of the separated forum if I haven't got a single knife from the byrd line.

Perhaps I am missing something but I don't see a link to spyderco.com while in the forum. I tried to click the giant spyderco logo thing at the top left but that just takes me to the default forum menu while in the forum. When I click the same link/logo while on the actual site it takes me to the pa...

Does anybody know if Spyderco plans on making any more non serrated versions of the Matriarch? I actually never seen this knife before and just stumbled across it. This would be the perfect design for me and I MUST have one. Any information would be appreciated.

I hate to say this but I really didn't have anything to cut today so I just fondled my knives. I think my spydercos deserved a day of TBH though. lol
