A few bad experiences: Immediately after I received my tasman salt, I decided to try to cut a clamshell pack of some kind (if I remember correctly, there was an xbox controller in it) and at least 1/16 of an inch of the tip was folded over, like aluminum foil. A few months into owning my Manix 2, I'...

I don't really like black coating when it's new, but it looks so cool after it's been well used.

I was looking forward to the Frontier, and I just saw a video of the prototype. I was a bit disappointed in the aesthetics. Looks like it's trying to be too many things (ergonomic, modern, and a classic bowie). The Battlestation looks promising.

I've had similar need for physical therapy after my leg surgeries in 2005. My femoral artery in my right leg was surrounded by a malignant tumor and removed, and there was some nerve damage. Thankfully, I guess because I was a kid, my body re-routed the blood flow and I kept the leg. Recovery is def...

What about offering a knife that has a solid stainless or aluminum frame, and an easily replaced overlay material? That would offer a satisfying amount of personal choice, and also, would not necessitate warranty-voiding disassembly of the knife by amateurs. The whole process could be as simple as s...

Isn't graphene supposed to be incredibly flexible? Like, being used as a transistor for paper thin, foldable electronics?

Yeah. I have the same fears of using plastic to hold alcoholic beverages. Don't know how rational those fears are, but I think stainless steel is probably a safe bet.

Am I alone in wanting full liners? I know it would add a little more weight, but I've had some blade centering issues with my Military because of how the handle flexes.

If you're going to carry it on your person as opposed to having it in a bag or some other off-body carry method, give some thought to what happens if you fall on it. Over the decades I've fallen on some of my Bat-Belt items and a couple of those falls have resulted in more serious injury than would...

Ever since I saw a documentary on cordyceps fungus in 2005 or so, I wondered what would happen if a strain of that could affect humans. Then The Last of Us came out, and that's exactly the premise of the game. Not the traditional zombie; much more terrifying.

I'd have major reservations about drinking anything stored in pewter or copper for any period over a few days. The paperwork that came with a couple of my stainless steel flasks said not to leave anything in them for more than two weeks, but others did not come with that warning. I've stored rum an...

I would like a pointier blade and a wire clip. I know most people like the tip of these blades the way it is but I more or less just accept it. Totally agree with you on the pointier blade! I saw some pictures of older Delicas and Enduras, and I really prefer the look of the older blades. As for th...
