It's probably just a difference of opinion about what superb means to some people JNewell. Superb might mean maintenance free. Maybe for these people, H1 is the superb steel. People like us who want a bit more performance would be more than willing to do that little bit of extra maintenance for wha...

I am constantly amazed by the number of people who pass up superb knives and blades simply because they can't, or won't, learn to take a very minimal amount of care of their tools. It wasn't that long ago that stainless steel simply wasn't a decent alternative for a quality blade. I take...

My favorites to edc are the Para 2 with carbon fiber scales and s90v. They are hard to find, but are out there. As far as lights, I picked up a few Sunwayman lights recently the A and single cr123 verson. They are small and well built.

I like carbon fiber the best. Black FRN second and grey FRN third.

Jigged bone models are heavy and usually have no clip. CF and Damascus would be awesome. I would buy 2!

Nice looking work and welcome.

I would be very interested in CF scales- particularly for a Delica 4 FRN and/or a Damascus jigged bone Delica model (sans liners).

I spoke to him about this and he is interested. If you want to contact him about another design please do.

Question for Spyderco and Delica Fans

Delica fans/Spyderco: Consider a Damascus Delica 4 (5?) FRN (black or even grey). Ed Schempp told me he would be intersted in providing the blades if there was enough support to convince Spyderco to do it. Sprint run? Even better a regular run.... Add carbon fiber and that would be the best knife ev...

Delica 4 blade swap to Damascus

I really want a Damascus blade Delica, but I do not want to carry a jigged bone model due to the weight and no clip. I have 2 Delica 4s- an all black FRN C/E and a grey FFG model (which should be in mailbox when I get home today). My question is this: Can I swap the blade from a jigged bone Damascus...

Damascus blade for Delica?

I would like to have a Delica with a Damascus blade. I would like either CF scales or FRN. I have seen the Damascus and bone sprint runs. I am not a big fan of the look and weight of bone. If I started with one of them, could I add a FRN handle from another Delica? If so, what version are they? 2, 3...
