I have the PE and I like it. I just touch it up once in a while. Then again, I don't use it that much. It takes a nice edge.

Techno

This is my favorite Spyderco, the Techno. It's a little big tank. As strong as an Oak. The Techno dwells with its own kind, with an acorn for a companion.

Nice catalog. Just wanted to point out that the photo for the CF Chap is actually the Sage 1 model and it says XHP . Just FYI. I really like the Equilibrium. Is that Calypso Sprint a 4in blade? I think the chaparral Pictured on page is actually a sage 1 the chaparral should have a back lock looks l...

I'm with you on that. I am hoping the XHP Carbon Fiber Chaparral isn't a typ-o. Also it's going to be nice to get a FFG FRN UKPK. :) The American made H1 Autonomy brings the possibility of some interesting sprints. It's funny that it is actually the Sage 1 model they are showing for the CF Chap :D

When I got my Blue Tenacious, it made the same metal-rubbing noise. I washed the pivot and then used some multi-purpose oil and no more noise. It opens smooth as silk.

Mine is also stiff to open and I'm glad for that. Techno is touted as a Mini Tank so I would hope it would be stiff. I am able to fingernail flick it open and wow is it loud hehe. I won't be doing that again. Normal one hand opening and closing using either hand is fine with me :)
