Re: Renegade sprint run?
I used to EDC a Blackhawk and would love to see either (or both!) as a sprint run. Maybe updated to a full flat grind, tip up or down carry, and CPM-154 or PD1.

Re: Seconds Sale 2020
One thing about about the Seconds Sale that was touched in is how much the knives on offer are handled. I honestly dunno how that would be restricted, and if it’s not Sal and company will go broke sanitizing each knife after handling. This was my exact thought. It would be easy enough to do the sal...

Re: St Nicks Native 5 4V Lightweight
I'm excited for this one. I got the Neversummer Native when it dropped, but I couldn't look past the combo edge and the giant logo. Also I don't get coating stainless blades. This basically solves every issue I had with that knife!

Sal, quit propping up the secondary market and just make us more spyderenches!
Whitey, try rotating the driver. The point might stick out better in a different orientation. My wrenches have all been different levels of finicky, but each has had a sweet spot.

They also have the Zwear "Zcarta" Shaman listed as in stock with a 20-29 day lead time. Seems like it's their way of saying "maybe, maybe not"

It sucks and it needed to happen. I'm going to spend that weekend whittling in my backyard in honor of the show that never was.

Re: Sal, how about C01 Worker coming back?
I think the fact that many retailers had Worker sprints in stock until this year (OSO still has them and there are always a few NIB on the Bay) means that this particular knife is not making a come back for a while. I don't think it can be made cheaply enough for mass appeal.

Re: Spyderco at Blade Show ATL 2020?
According to the exhibitor list, they will not be at Blade Show. Sucks, but I just moved to Atlanta and the fact that BS (kinda how I see it right now) hasn't been cancelled blows my mind.

Re: What's Spyderco's Consensus Grail Knife?
For a long time, it was the s90v/cpm154 clad paramilitary 2. The viele Phoenix is having a surge in popularity when one comes up for sale. For me personally, Hap40 and v-toku 2 knives with perfectly even lamination lines

Re: Please forgive me
When I go camping I don't take ANY of my Spydercos with me. I like having a multitool with needle nose plyers and a fixed blade in a slightly softer (hrc sub-60) carbon steel. Spyderco doesn't make either of those.

Re: UKPK 52100 Sprint?
Normally not one for zombie threads, but I have to add my support for a Spyderco slip joint in a carbon steel. I'd love this to come out, but skip the carbon fiber. Pakkawood or g10 for a fancy knife, or frcp/frn for a budget knife. I'm in for either

Over on blade forums no is the runaway lead. Do not make this knife. That said, a straight back in a Japanese laminate steel would rock

Re: Ancient 440V Millie-Tell me what you can about it!
Nice find. That is the gen 3ish Military with markings on the blade and ricasso. It had a thinner handle and bigger jimping on the blade. Original knives had nylon washers. They need to stay lubed to keep from cracking over time (years) but were thinner than copper washers. 440V was supposed to be t...
