I'd give him a baliyo pen so he doesn't hurt himself.

I saw that coupon and it perfectly lined up with a great deal on a plain edge, micarta Jot Singh Khalsa. I've had 3 before but they've all been serrated. Excited for my new old blade to arrive!

Re: C15 yes
I think the c15 terzuola is one of the most ergonomic knives spyderco ever made. They have done several more collaborative models with Mr Bob T, and I'm not sure if they were really popular. One of my favorites and most carried is the double bevel that has been reprofiled to a clip point. I'd love t...

Re: Experiment: Try open carrying a fixed blade for a week
When I lived in Denver, I carried an ESEE Izula every day in a leather belt sheath 5 o'clock position. nobody ever gave it a second glance. If I tried that in Chicago I'd have police meet me on the train.

Re: Sprint Runs Of Old Models With Old Blade Steel?
Spyderco has updated a few steels from the OG Japanese producers for the modern market. Gin-1 is analagous to Cts-bd1 and ats-34 (best steel ever) is RWL-34. I'd like to see old models re-released in their modern production materials. A new Terzuola in RWL-34 (or CPM154) and titanium, a salsa or pro...

Re: Models That Absolutely DESERVE Sprint Runs
I'm going to echo the call for a C22 Walker Sprint and suggest a few options in order of preference:
Smooth G10, CPM154 or BD1N (or 20CV if you must, but I prefer an easier to sharpen steel), made in Golden
Pakkawood or Aluminum, Hap40, made in Japan
Titanium, S90V, made in Taichung

I was really excited for these to be a budget folder in BD1. I'm hoping they make it to the secondary market after the seconds sale. **** I wish I still lived in Colorado.

Re: Where to sell my Spyderco knives?
I prefer Bladeforums to ebay any day. 30 bucks for a gold membership is way cheaper than ebay fees after a few knives and buyers who understand knives and won't try to scam you. Also, the community is just as strong and welcoming as it is here at Spyderco. Sell your knives to collectors who will app...

Re: Spyderco Calypso Jr. Sprint Run Knife Gray (Aogami Super Blue)
I agree with the fit and finish comments. Mine has a little bit of the lock bar sticking out and some small gaps near the pins. That said, the Moki heat treatment is one of the best in the knife world. They are the ones who make Al Mar aus 8 an actual contender and turned me on to ats34. I can't ima...

You have 24 hours from the time you make a new hole to get it stitched. If you haven't already, go in the morning. I got a BM 51 lodged in my wrist last March. Seven stitches later, my wife won't let me have balisongs anymore.

Re: "The one"
Mine is a little less popular a choice than others. The terzuola double bevel. I have one that has been reprofiled from a tanto into a drop point, and that makes all the difference. Blade to handle ratio is higher than almost any other spyderco, ergonomics are amazing, deployment is super smooth, an...

The chokwe is an excellent knife. I always thought about it as a competitor to the sebenza at half the price.
