Re: Knife & Watch

I went and looked up the watch. Very cool, but I haven’t broken a comma on a watch purchase yet 😬

Re: Show your Bugs and Critters

Nice!! Hard timber Buck . Nice rack but body weight is not what we would normally see in central Illinois . Area harvested has a lot of hard timber and fewer sources of corn and soybeans to gorge on . Buck looks to be around three years old . Dan Illinois whitetail have a reputation. All bigger tha...

I wonder if there's still a plan to release swick 5 pe.
I would think so. But it is a little odd how they’ve been released.

Denatured alcohol or acetone. MEK would work well too, but I don’t need that around. Rub from spine to edge, never parallel to the edge.

Re: Corrosion Reports

BKF is fantastic for anything stainless in the kitchen and ceramic stones/rods. It’s the solution for those salt spots you get on the bottom of your stainless pots from boiling… anything. Works on enameled cast iron too.

Re: CPM REX 45 | Edge Performance

If nothing else it appears REX45 doesn’t require any sort of special treatment whatsoever!!! I don’t think M4 would have fared as well, much as I love it.

Leafjumper looks great! I need to get it in-hand. What I’m eager to see is the Cliffjumper. I wonder what Sal will name the leaf-blade version of the Cliffjumper?

Re: Condolences for your missed deals

I didn’t figure out there was such a discount running until late yesterday, but I am still selling and saving for a canoe that’s due to deliver in December. So my personal finances haven’t changed, I still have no business spending money!! There are knives I’d like to try, but I don’t NEED any to ge...

Re: Knife & Watch

Sometimes hindsight is such a PITA… I was considering selling my old SKX173, but I figured I needed to be able to state something about its timekeeping in the ad so I wore it for a week. Well what do you know, it kept time pretty much dead on as compared to me Casio solar atomic G-Shock every mornin...

I finally sprung for a Swick 6 from MandH Tactical on eBay. They offered 25% off and I had a little something sitting in my PayPal account plus a recent sale on eBay.
