I wonder if they finished the LC blades similar to the mirror stonewash finish on the Manix 2 LW if that would help decrease contamination issues? Less chance of material being stuck in grind lines?

Thanks, I really like that knife! I would love to see Spyderco use those materials on a Chaparral and make a “modern” knife to go with my GEC

Wish I could go but won’t be able to.. I’d love to pick up a few models, especially when I see all the prices that they go for :/

I would love it if they made a Chap along the lines of my GEC 77 Barlow.. micarta with a bolster and everything with a nice subtle radius.

I would prefer a linen micarta over a canvas micarta for the Chap- green, natural, or maroon would all be nice colors. Wood would look nice on this knife too, and I’m kind of surprised they haven’t used pakkawood yet.. I think either wood or linen micarta handles may also look nice with a titanium b...
