I forced a #8 into the clip screws and
got them loose.

It used to be simple to reverse a clip on a Spyderco. I tried to do it this evening and gave up. A #6 Torx is too small and a #7 is too large. Actually it is FRN. I did grind the original FRN clip
off and installed an SS Calypso Jr. Clip on
the opposite scale to match my carry
preference.

I have 2 that I alternately carry, a SS PE and a G10 SE.
Lately the SE sees the most use. Great little knives.
