Re: Plastic Knives are BEST.
i've dropped both my manix lw and native salt from about waist height and they both have scars. the native salt was dropped on chunkier asphalt and got some deep gouges (not really that bad, but deep for a little drop). my manix just got some small dents and scratches. i don't even notice them. i m...

My Native 5 LW got some rub marks on the FRN while having some pocket time next to my Gerber shard.

Re: VJ Day
From Southeast Asia here. Our country was occupied by the IJA for several years. We have several holidays here where we celebrate the liberation of our island (and country) by combined American, Australian forces and local guerillas. Heck, it was brutal and bloody according to history books we have ...

Re: The heinous Canis
I wonder if Sal could let us know if the Canis is going to be sprinted anytime soon? Definitely interested in getting one of these soon, but if there's going to be a sprint in a better steel someday, I'll just wait for that. i'm sure he'd like to sell the ones he's made before telling people to hol...

Re: The Show youre manixes thread.
I finally added a Manix and Mini Manix to my collection to go with my Manix 2 backlock. I love seeing the evolution of the Manix line and the Manix 2 backlock was the most apple-to-apple way to compare the original series with the 2 series. Spyderco have really refined their Golden backlocks to an ...

Re: Who of you buys only Spyderco, no other brand knives?
Been into CRKTs, Kershaws before Spyderco. Aside from one Kizer that I bought because it was a steal at that time, All of my knives right now are all Spydies.

Re: River's Edge PM2
I like that there's going to be reruns of this model. I'm going to pass on it, but hopefully with it not being an elusive unicorn like the Para 3 was, more easily available over time...we'll get some feedback on how that coating holds up in use. I've always wondered how scratch resistant this stuff...

Re: 30 years of Delicas and Enduras
After owning CRKTs and Kershaws for awhile, the difference in quality and craftsmanship (for a mass produced knife) was evident the very first time I got my Delica 4 some time ago. Never looked back since. :)
Thank you Glesser family for making such an iconic knife.
