After reading all your post a Yojimbo 2 & Dragonfly 2 seems like a good balance between a scary & friendly knife.

It's important to have at least 2: one knife that's not going to scare anybody, and one that is. So I can justify 2 categories of knife, the not scary and the scary category. my dragonfly is the knife that won't scare anyone, the stretch or endura will. And the delica can be in both of the 2 catego...

too many knives for an office workers?

I work indoors in an office. I carry a Stretch 2, Dragonfly, Swiss Army Classic SD on my key chain, and a the old plier version of the Leatherman Squirt on my office keys. One day I realized I'm carrying 4 blades. 17 years ago I just carried the Delica 3 in combo edge to work and the Endura combo ed...

I find VG-10 steel blades like the endures are easy to sharpen compared to other blades. on my non VG-10 blades have to use the course stone and the bevel angle first. Has anyone tried the sand paper trick seen on you tube?

Well let me help you push the para 2 back to the top. There. Now you have both the Yojimbo 2 and Para 2 at the top of your list :) I just declared the stretch 2 as my perfect defensive blade and made and promised myself to stick to VG-10 steel, FRN handle, blade size between an delica and endura an...

Dear Sal, After reading this thread I started I realized that the stretch 2 is fine the way it is, ok color options on the FRN would be cool, but the combination of the speed of the blade deployment, the light weight of the FRN handles, the qualities of the VG-10 steel, and the price makes this knif...

What's a good DVD on knife fighting or defending for beginners? Or which one of Michael Janich's DVDs?

Can't go wrong. Ergos great, solid knife. And, I use it for EDC stuff - cutting, used it on rope, twigs, couch material, foam core. Hit staples with the edge, and it came back to screaming sharp with a few swipes on the stone. I wouldn't pry with the tip, but sharpening couldn't be easier. Thanks f...

Vg-10 steel has worked the best for me as far as a balance of rust resistance (lack of maintenance) and resharpening. I had a mili and para and I could never sharpen them as well as VG-10. I like the blade shapes and price of the Tenacious series just heard and read about the rust resistance issues ...

Delica & endura FFG in black FRN handles?

Any chance the delica & endura will come in black frn handles? Any one else interested? Anyone swaped FFG blades with delica 4 or endurance 4?
