Re: What is detail work????

HERESY! Actually I’m in complete agreement. If I want to cut on something that demands precision (hangnail, cuticle, splinter, defusing that bomb etc...) the Urban’s a better choice than the millie. Now that I’ve got a few knives with choils, I can offer my $0.02... I like it on the para3, which is ...

I might have to get this one as a consolation for missing out on the 4v. Trying to decide if I need to give Cruwear another shot.
How do you feel cruwear let you down?

Re: To M4 or not to M4...

I’ve been very content with M4. I like cruwear quite well too. I have not rotated my rex45 into use yet; probably should. I’m finally getting a nice patina on my bhq para 3, and I’m not ready to “move on” from M4! I’d be delighted for them to coexist though!

All the police deals are gone I can't believe it
They’re still listed at full price many places. Sad I missed the New Graham price. May have to suck it up and buy the BBS PM2.

Re: Choose my knife (or my fate) for 4 days!

I like a SE blade as a choice, but not a primary/only, so I voted millie. I recently got my first, a cruwear version, and I like it a lot more than I thought I would.

Re: Have you found the one?

“Other” My most often carried is my M4 para 3. I find I prefer different knives for different uses. I love the tool steels, but being in Florida there are times the rust proof Salt 2 is the right choice. I swim with it in the gulf and ocean. I wouldn’t do that with M4! Could I get by with LC200N or...

Re: Can anybody else relate?

I find M4 and cruwear touch up very quickly on my doublestuff 2 (I don’t have any of the other steels you mentioned in use). If you keep them touched up, you won’t need a more in-depth sharpening session until you reprofile them.

Love that little air. Tell me about the M4 PM2 bottom row, second from the right- are those oem, and more importantly, are they rounded off on the corners?

Re: Official 2020 Discontinued List

I have one but have only used it to break down some cardboard. The handle is way to skinny and I just can’t get a comfortable purchase on it no matter what I try. As far as the steel PSF27, I love it. Can’t go wrong with the improved version of D2. Just took delivery last night... It's a quite thin...

Re: Official 2020 Discontinued List

I’ve been giving the Junction a closer look with the price drop, but can’t find much about it except some questions on the blade steel. Has anyone actually used this knife? Skinning only or general woods knife?

Re: Why don't you have more spyderco fixed blades?

I bought my mom the 6” serrated kitchen utility knife, but I don’t have any spydie FBs. I missed the disco pricing on the bushcraft. The proficient is too expensive for me. The cf may look amazing but I don’t think it adds anything other than cost. I have been eyeballing the junction on disco... How...

Re: CRUWEAR for all!

I’d be into Maxamet but I’d have to buy up new sharpening gear, ceramics don’t “cut it”. I like cruwear quite a lot, but my current favorite is M4. I think I’ve got the knives I need in cruwear, a para 3 and a millie. It would be interesting to try it in a fixed blade. But frankly, my Mora companion...

^^ I like it! That minus the choil would be choice. I guess the choil is necessary to accommodate the lock button.
