The Centofante's by Spyderco are probably the best gents folders out there. The blade is thin so I would not think your first problem would be the liner lock strength. The knife was not designed for heavy use so no choil should not be a problem....has never been for me anyways. The C25 is what got m...

Java...you there, I need some coffee help???
I got a FreshRoast Plus 8 for Christmas and have been REALLY enjoying fresh roasted coffee since. What a difference it makes. Pretty much all other coffee tastes off now. Anyways, to my questions. I prefer a dark roast and where I bought the roaster said to wait for the second crack. The guy did a d...

My son is almost 2 now and his lessons have already started. The intellect of children is astounding(and no not just because he is MY son :D ) and I really think that kids are ready to learn many things right from the start. My son has a PlayDoh multi-tool that he got for Christmas this year and it ...

I came up with then name Micro Bleach because it is small. My brother is into Anime and he got me to watch an episode of Bleech/Bleach? so I could see this sword one of the characters had. He wanted to know if I could make him one. Let's just say the sword is WAAAAAAAY beyond what I am capable of at...

Bead Blasted Lava
Finally got around to taking some half decent pics of my bead blasted Lava today. It is perfect now, nice and grippy and looks great I think. Now for a lanyard :)

Thanks for the kind comments folks! Heading to the shop tomorrow night to do the Lava and work on some other projects. I have a very inexpensive King brand blast cabinet. It is not so much the cabinet as it is the gun that you need to worry about. My father uses a bead blaster at work set at 40psi m...

Bead Blaster vs SS Dragonfly
So I deceided to try this out on my old beat up SS Dragonfly before I do it to my Lava. Heresy you say...ah, but even though it is not THAT cold out yet my hands have a heck of a time getting a grip on the SS models. I LOVE the Lava and it has been my EDC for a week now and it has done everything I ...

Three in Thunder Bay, one in a Chapters, one in a Safeway and the other is an actual store. It is true that Starbucks has had its place in the coffee industry, you can not argue that. I too watched the Black Coffee documentary and it was VERY GOOD! I just bought my own roaster yesterday and spent ov...
