By the way where have you been hiding all this time :D ??? Also have you seen the Des Horn model that they have in the main line up? That model might just be your cup of tea because it's one of the best PE Wharnies I've seen in a while. Good to have you back my friend :) I'm glad to be back on boar...

Am I missing something here??? OK I know we all have different preferences as to what we think a knife should be>> and I'm in no way knocking PE Rescue models at all. But what would be the advantage in a sheepsfoot plain edged design? And like I said earlier wouldn't the recently discontinued Breed...

Ha! Hope the wait was worth it, let us know your thoughts on the knife if you choose to purchase it :) I have the Kiwi 4 in pocket right now, and I absolutely love it! It is already in my top three carry, and really is more than enough knife by itself to handle any everyday cutting chore I encounte...

I usually can be found listening to chiptunes, trance, bluegrass, classical, or older country. One hour it's Vern Gosdin, then out comes Shpongle, and then Pixelh8. I like Jonathan Coulton as well, gotta respect a guy who writes a song about the Mandelbrot set. Today, however, has been mostly Elton ...

To keep it affordable, I wouldn't mind if the Dodo made a return in a translucent plastic handle with caged ball lock, like the Manix 2. I realize of course that would involve new tooling and molds to produce scales for a model that consistently sells poorly, but, I can still see visions of $75 tran...

I work full-time at a chemical company as a department leader and fill-in chemist, but I also am going to school in the evenings to finish my B.S. in Mathematics. I am very close, I will hopefully be done in another year, then, on to taking actuarial exams... My dream job? Programming music for toys...

There is no G-10 Stretch. If you want something fancy, then go for one of the Nishijin GF Damascus versions, since they're Sprints and likely to sell out relatively fast. The FRN version is a great knife, but like the Manix 2, is going to be fairly close to your PM2. If you want something as far re...

Which to buy next?
Howdy all! So, I'm thinking about getting a new spydie and I've narrowed it down to a few models: - Military - Lum Chinese g10 (large) - Stretch (CF or FRN) - Manix 2 blue translucent. I'm a user not a collector, so I hate to buy a knife that will see more drawer time than pocket time. I know The De...
