Re: K390 vs S110V - Some Observations
I prefer K390 for work knives because I like how it sharpens and deburrs. It holds a front-end sharpness noticeably longer than S110V in my experience. It is also a few points harder than S110V, which gives it more strength and better edge stability. S110V’s corrosion resistance works exceptionally ...

Re: What "Other" is in your pocket???

Today it was called into action for some minor surgery when my hand was starting to hurt and I noticed a splinter in my palm that's probably been sitting there since p...

Re: Upping the price.
I've been following this thread since inception, but refrained from commenting... I'll start by saying I dislike paying more for any product as much as the next guy. Unfortunately we have to acknowledge the cost increases throughout the value-chain. From where I'm sitting, many of these contributing...

Re: S110v to delicate more of a safe queen???
I suggest you resharpen it a few times to completely remove steel behind the factory edge. See Outpost76’s channel on Youtube. He has proven time and again that he only gets stable and long lasting edges on most steels after 3–4 complete sharpenings. https://youtu.be/iwV-VsNSD6w?si=RK6t7XA2z1e647BN ...

Re: Looking For Tips to Darken Micarta with Oil only
I oiled a Cruwear micarta PM2 using mineral oil a few times. Every time it would return to its original light colour after a few weeks.

Re: Frankenstein titanium UKPK?
My ti scales also arrived, and I installed it on a 6 year old S110V UKPK today. I like it! The action is crisp with no blade play, and the blade is centered. I like the additional bit of weight and smooth ti finish. I also noticed the tiny gaps at the back spring CJK. I agree it could be an area of ...
