Spyderco slip its are growing on me
I'm liking the slip its more and more, the UKPK is something else, love the squeak, can't say enough about the pingo, the nice blade on the spydk and the roadie is just outstanding. I would really like more exotic steels on these. I know the Elmax is coming out(want those also). But I am talking abo...

Re: ZDP-189 concern
I noticed the same thing when I first got my ZDP Endura. It was a weak edge, I hit it on the sharpmaker and it fixed my problem you can even go to put a 45 degree on it to make it stronger but 40 works well enough. It is a high carbon steel I take care of super blue, zdp, s110v and m4 the same I alw...

Re: Spyderco Playing Cards
That's a cool idea and lets make a poll to see which knife gets which card. I know this not related to cards but I really really want a nice big oval brass belt buckle with the spyderco bug right on the middle, just plain and simple and to the point. Whoever knows about spyderco will know the wearer...

Re: I can't freehand
Careful with those diamond stones they eat up steel pretty fast even the fine. For super blue I use the sharpmaker it gives me better results. I learned free hand with cheap knives and kitchen knives. Reprofile and raising angles, micro bevels it is kind of confusing when you don't get the results y...

Re: What Spydeco is in your pocket today??
I agree great knife, right size good steel but a sprint run on the UKPK is needed I got the drop point but I liked it so much I am getting the leaf shape. Carrying my new UKPK today. This thing is so light it's amazing. It sure would be cool to jump from BD1 to S110V like the LW Manix 2 did :) https...

Re: Ordered my Roadie
Well the blade looks stronger than a ladybug and the ladybug can cut very well. You can't chop a tree with it but to cut open boxes, straps and small cutting tasks its perfect. Its the smallest of the slip it knives.

Re: Ordered my Roadie
Man just got my Roadie what a nice small pocket knife, very small and discreet with a nice robust blade, thick slip lock. Very nice handle it accomodates to large hands with very nice jimping. For being so small it does give you lots of confidence of its cutting power. Will get a Red for sure loved ...
