are we talking DLC blade too?
Yes, wasn't sure if it would be TiCN or DLC
I'd be in for DLC.

Re: Sal, what are the chances for another DS93X Thor blade spydie?

I was just thinking about how virtually every model using damasteel these days is either a backlock or framelock. I'd LOVE a damasteel blade in a comp lock, but I might have to commission that myself...

One: improve the Spyderco Pm2.
Two: Exceed the speed of light.
Correct, because tomorrow may bring the tanto PM2 ;)

The handle is noticeably thinner on the Ti Delica than the FRN version
Interesting! would you say it's equivalent in thickness to, say, the pakkawood versions?

Re: POLL: Would you buy a sheepsfoot PM2?

I'd love a profile similar to the Caribbean sheepsfoot, but in the existing 3.5 inch PM2 blade length. Anything to get better tip strength!

Re: Tanto PM2 Support Thread

I'm just imagining the incredible *thunk* that tanto blade must make as it flips into locked position.

Sounds like empowerment, just like the Shaman.

Tanto PM2 Support Thread

As seen in BHQ's Shot Show 2019 video, Eric has in his pocket a Tanto PM2. This is a great addition to the PM2 line, imo. The last tanto release was the BHQ Lum Tanto, but this seems to offer several advantages: - superior compression lock - stronger tip than conventional PM2 while maintaining exist...

Re: Ikuchi

I hope it's on bearings,, light blade? I'll still buy one either way. I'll be surprised if it's got bearings at the $100 price point. Spyderco's literature doesn't specify either way, and their marketing typically highlights when a blade is running on bearings. The blade on this is going to be so l...

Seeking opinions on the Damascus Delica

Was browsing through the Spyderco Catalog and for some reason, the Damascus Delica caught my eye.

I've looked past it for years, but now it's calling to me.

Any owners have thoughts? How's the Damascus etching hold up to use?

Thanks in advance! :spyder:

Re: Let's get hyped for the Amalgam!

I think Taichung has been knocking these bearing comp lock flippers out of the park when it comes to action (aside from the chronic detent weakness, but that's easily fixed). I've been able to get my sliverax and amalgam to be drop shut with no blade play, and they both feel a lot more solid than so...

Re: Let's get hyped for the Amalgam!

Keep the observations coming, the more constructive feedback I see the more I learn! Edit: thanks for the compliments Zatx! That is indeed very flattering :D You're welcome! And ironically given the comments about the lockbar tab, the only time I picked up a PM2 since getting my Amalgam was to give...
