Re: Delica/Endura Gen 5 Thoughts
I’d be lying if I tried to explain technically what is different but the Golden produced back locks in my experience are smoother and don’t experience some of the occasional blade play when locked like the seki models. I still love my enduras Delicas and pacific salts though. If you have the opport...

Re: Delica/Endura Gen 5 Thoughts
Personally I think this innovation in lock allowing the blade to reach all the way back to the handle, giving a maximal cutting edge to measured blade ratio as being a possible valid reason to start a re-innovation of the design. Also gives speculative reason that a new gen will in fact not have a ...

Re: Vanax PM2 Lets Do This!!!
i would like to try vanax and even in a pm2, but not with titanium. I enjoy the exploratory questions on the Vanax steel despite production costs but I am still confused on a "dive" knife made of titanium scales. Lock designs aside, can some of the coastal and underwater users educate me ...

Re: Clips - stainless vs titanium
If I translated this correctly, this would mean that any SS clip would take a lot more force before going into plastic deformation, which would make titanium ones very gentle. What are your toughts and experiences on this? What do you use (especially those who have the option to compare)? The very ...

Re: DLT Exclusive Delica OD Green FRN and Coated Cruwear
They are starting to hit eBay now. It was probably a stressful two weeks for the flipper scumbags having to hold onto these knives until they sold out. Makes me happy to think about. :) This x 2. As I previously said I would do, I used this knife all week long at work and never cleaned it up. Great...

Re: DLT Trading: will we see a OD/TiCN Cruwear Endura?
Its been discussed, the Endura sells significantly slower than the Delica, which in turn sells significantly slower than the Manix 2/Para 2 class of exclusive knives. It makes it hard to give the green light to a batch of the quantity we usually order. Personally I'd love to see it, I really like t...

Re: Finally ordered that Lone Wolf Distributor's Endura
It's a good buy, a waved blade + 3/32' punch all for less than a standard Endura. I had it in my cart for a while too.

Re: Sal, Can We Form A Collective, And Order An Exclusive?
We have sixty days to get enough people to pay the full price up front for the knife. I don't know what crowd funding sites charge but... Maybe that's a way? Do we have insight on the 30 day vs 60 day vs 90 day project Duration versus Fund Rate completion on this thought exercise? Social seems to p...

New MXG Gear clip... On a side note... I got 5 clips in today and the USPS envelope had a tire tread mark across it  ... lol... 1 of the clips is a little flatter than it should be, but still perfectly usable. :D Looking sharp! But were you expecting your clips to be delivered AND also un...

Re: Is my Delica 4 fake? Thank you
If anyone knows is this normal during the production of knife or not? Out of my 5 Delicas, they are straight lines but my 1 Endura is much more wavier than yours. 2 of the Delicas and the Endura was purchased from the same store. Does anyone know if these are lockbar wear or machining patterns? I t...

Re: River's Edge PM2
I take no issue with someone making a profit from the sale of a product, especially if the proceeds are used to fund their hobby, but I do think it is absurd that people are selling items before they purchase or posses them. Those individuals deserve every bit of negative press they receive on eBay...

I agree x2. Also wanting the next gen Delica to keep the backlock. Prefer current clip configuration due to aftermarket support of deep carry clips.steelcity16 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 18, 2020 3:42 pmThe backlock is the best lock for hard working affordable user knives like these and really the best lock in general.

Re: Plastic Knives are BEST.
When it comes to FRN, Seki FRN always felt a bit "softer", more "rubbery" and less "plasticy" and less likely to break than Golden FRN to me (totally subjective and not proven by any test at all - just the feel in hand) I've noticed this difference too between the Seki...

Re: Got first Spyderco, somewhat disappointed...
It was kind of stiff to open at first, so I did a little searching and the recommendation is to sit there watching TV and opening and closing it, which is what I've been doing. It seemed to be a little gritty but I figured that was just how they are at first. I opened/closed it for an hour or so (p...
