Re: Who uses Sharpmaker exclusively?

I use a DMT aligner kit with all the stones and a Bark River strop from DLT.

Re: Very Disappointed

Most of the time stripped screws are the result of wrong or cheap torx-drivers.

Re: Shipping of internal parts

I also live abroad and it would be very convenient that simple replacement parts could be shipped. Everyone can strip a screw on a bad day. Or have a defect in the BBL of a Manix. Of course I would be willing to pay for that. Sending a knife in to Spyderco from Europe and paying the shipping costs t...

Re: Spyderco Natural G-10 Manix 2 M4 Blade HQ Exclusives

I forgot to mention but mine did arrive too. Its my first Manic 2 and I like it very much. Fit and finish are flawless and the blade is scary sharp.
I also own the PM2 in this version.
Hard to tell which one I like the most...

How is the ball bearing lock? Is it stiff or easy to close the knife, preferably with just your thumb?

Re: Gayle Bradley - 5 Year review

Great review! I finally got one too! I took it apart and bent the lockbar a bit back. I also sanded and polished the sharp edges on the liners, especially the area where your thumb goes for closing. I can close it now without any problems. This is one of the very best and I should have bought it muc...
