Chuck that is a pretty heavy duty pair for edc. I guess the tag line does say it all.

Wish I could rationalize that during the week but would be a bit overkill for the office. The weekend is another story...

I would agree with that last statement. Absolutley loved the look of the rock lobster but could not get a comfortable grip on it no matter how much I tried. Others on this forum found the grip on that knife to be excellent. Glad Spyderco offers such a diverse range of knives cause you can always fin...

Have used the persistance and tenacious and find the steel adequate for my needs. Maybe doesn't hold its edge as long as VG10 but actually sharpens up easier. I would definately pick one up in VG10 if offered but don't I also dont discount the steel currently used. For the money they are fantastic k...

Yeah, I am probably the only person on this site interested in it. Frabo, I have been thinking about the Pink Native or Purple FFG Delica for my daughter (she is way to young for them so they will have to be kept safe until she is old enough or responsible enough). Nice combination of colors. Your h...

Manix 101 Combo Edge at W&W. Native 4 CF on the site also. Your call on the prices. I got the last plain edge Manix 101 (at least that is what I was told by Jay) they had in stock. The tip was slightly bent but worked it out. Also slight play but probably normal for a backlock and nothing that w...

Both W&W and SandR Knives are pretty good to deal with. I almost exclusively go with these guys. If you get the chance go to the SandR store they often have knives there which are not listed on their website. They have also ordered specific knives in when requested. They didn't have any Para2s l...

Nice pick up on both the orange M2 and CF Para 2. I don't have either unfortunately but do have the Sprint CTS Manix2 which would be my suggestion.

If you want to go in a different direction and can find one, the G10 Delica is a great knife.

Most likely discounted because of the Combo Edge as others above have mentioned. In general CE's are not that popular on this forum but I have always been a fan. The CE on the Military is just about perfect. Leaves enough useable plain edge while adding a short section of serrations which come in ha...

I would love to see a flat ground delica in S90V with peel ply CF scales or G10

Not sure how well the price would go over with people seeing what happened with the G10 Delica but as a sprint run, maybe. As well I think it would have to be made in Golden which rules this one out.

Do not carry for SD purposes so take this for what it is worth, but a CE Millie and G10 Delica seem to find themselves in my pocket when I know I have work to do. The CE Millie will get switched out for a CE Stretch FRN. I know that Combo edges are not particularily popular but they seem to work for...

Hello Casey1,

Can't comment on the CF UKPN as I don't have one but my Orange G10 UKPN has absolutely no play whatsoever. Can't imagine that it would be any different on the CF one.

In all honesty I was actually surprised how solid it was (and still is) when I got it.

Very much appreciated everyone. Nothing better than being welcomed by a group of like minded individuals. Believe me I am surprised at the number as well Jedi. Luckily the wife is ok with it as long as I keep the buying with reason. She also knows that ithey are a sure fire gift for birthdays. I hop...

My wife uses a Pink D4 for yard work, a Spin (small linerlock) or a Chicago (small linerlock but not that readily avialable) for other uses. She actually prefers the back lock to the linerlock in use, but to each his (her) own.

She is also fond of my kopas.

First Post, 1000th Visit

Just wanted to say hello and thanks to everyone on here. This is my first post but the information and knowledge I have gained from lurking on this forum has been invaluble. On the other hand it has led me to aquire more knives than I ever thought I would. I am up to 58 spydie's and 4 Byrds after a ...
