my friend cut the tip of his thumb off with a kershaw whirlwind because of the amount of force it takes to close it caused his thumb to slip into the path of the blade. He now has a flat tip thumb and he still has no feeling in it. So yeah I don't really care for AO's.

Michael if you like Yojimbo you should see Sanjuro which is the sequel. Ran is also another great Kurosawa movie.

I think its a nice knife but the ball lock is to much of a hassle to unlock but that is my only real problem with it, I do love the ergonomics of it.

Hmm sounds good the shop is having a 25% sale right now so i might go pick it up tomorrow. They also had a Ronin for $84 but i like the Perrin I didn't know if that was a fair price and the owner told me they had both been there forever so i figured i would wait till the sale.

Well it seems that it is fixed. While i was looking at the locking mechanism I decide to just give it a little pull and it pop back but its still making the noise which is making me nervous. I put some Tuf-glide in it but I am just worried that the lock might fail. Should i still send it to Golden.

I think a mixture of both i have been flipping it since i got in bit not hard just flicking it open with my finger so that shouldn't have done anything, but it was making a slight squeaking/grinding sound after the first few minutes of playing with it. I'm hoping Spyderco will exchange it for a pe b...
